The Wall Street Journal this week published an opinion letter from a retired U.S. Air Force pilot who claims only pot smokers and people with cataracts see UAP and that he's never met a pilot in over 40 years who saw a UFO. It's becoming increasingly obvious that there's a campaign by some in the Pentagon to change direction with the ongoing apparent slow UFO disclosure effort. Last week, The New York Times published an article that featured anonymous Pentagon officials who claimed that many new UAP encounters could be explained away as balloons or Chinese spy drones. This week, Military.com - an online publication with close ties to the Pentagon - ran an article about the famous 1948 Thomas Mantell UFO case. Mantell tragically crashed his plane and died on Jan. 7, 1948, while chasing after a UFO. Although many witnesses on the ground said they saw a gigantic UFO, the Air Force for years has maintained he was chasing after a balloon. Military.com parroted the controversial Air Force position again and made no mention of what witnesses to the event saw. An article that appeared in the New York Times last week that quoted anonymous sources who downplayed many new unexplained UAP reports appears to have been a concerted effort to re-bury the UFO problem in the darkest, most secretive corners of the U.S. government. A new anonymous Pentagon source - who seems to be at odds with his peers - has informed the Daily Mail that roughly 50 percent of UFOs have no explanations whatsoever. "They don't want to talk about this stuff, because they really, really don't know what the hell they are ... That's the truth," the anonymous Pentagon source told the Daily Mail. Also, a well-known UFO debunker has attempted to paint people who believe the government is covering up the truth about the extraterrestrial presence as whacked out nuts who are no different than the maniac who recently cracked Paul Pelosi's skull with a hammer. The New York Times on Friday ran a Pentagon press release disguised as a news article that indicates many of the unexplainable UFOs reported previously by government officials now have prosaic explanations. Additionally, the Pentagon insists that the remaining unidentified objects are definitely not extraterrestrial craft, even though officials have no idea what the objects are. Also, author and historian Richard M. Dolan says the unnamed president recently referred to by Christopher Mellon during a recent interview who tried to disclose the UFO reality to the public was George H.W. Christopher Mellon, a former U.S. deputy assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence, said in a recent interview with Robert Fleischer, of Spain-based channel ExoMagazinTV, that he was told there was at least one U.S. president who wanted to tell the public the truth about UFOs, but was warned against it by his advisors. Also, Reason Magazine is showing a propensity of being utterly unreasonable when it comes to the topic of UFOs. The U.S. Department of Defense, or more specifically, Majestic-12, seems to be using the same types of tricks parents use to fool their children with the way the government has been proceeding with the release of UFO information. People who do not believe there's an extraterrestrial presence on Earth are either being controlled by aliens via psychotronic means to think there's nothing here, are living in a complete state of denial, or are absolutely insane. There doesn't seem to be any other explanation, considering the weight of evidence that favors the ET reality. The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, which is considered the biggest organization of engineers and scientists in the United States, announced this week that it believes UAP pose a safety hazard to commercial and military aircraft. Because of this, AIAA is launching its own investigation into the phenomenon. Also, other proposed needed studies related to the UFO problem are discussed. UFO investigator and filmmaker James Fox's latest documentary film, MOMENT OF CONTACT, proves that Brazilian military officials orchestrated a coverup that involved threatening civilians after a UFO crashed in Varginha, Brazil in 1996. Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter - along with other witnesses - saw a UFO in Georgia in 1969. One of the campaign promises Carter made while running for president in 1976 was to make available to the public and scientific community all government information related to UFOs. After taking office, however, that campaign promise was never fulfilled. Anecdotal evidence suggests that, upon being briefed about UFOs, Carter was seen sobbing with both hands covering his face.
