The real estate business is not entirely about the housing market. It's not easy to find a good investment property in today's market. Prices and mortgage rates are high, and it can be really difficult to make the numbers work. As a lifelong Californian, Kathy has learned this lesson. It's just too expensive in California to invest here. So 20 years ago, she started looking in other states and had to evaluate realtors, property managers, renovation teams, and others. With the experience she gained, she launched RealWealth with her husband, Rich, to help other investors find rental properties, and they now have great systems in place to find the best property teams in strong but affordable growth markets. As a more recent addition to the RealWealth crew is a husband-and-wife team who are experienced investors themselves, and are now traveling the country in an RV to vet property teams for our RealWealth investors. Rebekah and Grant have bought, sold and 1031 exchanged all kinds of real estate including single family rentals, short-term rentals, and fix-and-flips. One of the most compelling reasons for owning investment property is the huge amount of money you can save on taxes.
