#02 Jing Energy

Join Mason as we take a deep dive into the mysterious and vitally important energy that lives in our kidneys; Jing. ‘Jing’ is the Chinese word for ‘essence’ - specifically kidney essence. In the ancient Taoist tradition, fatigue, weakness and hormonal imbalance, were all considered a result of Jing depletion. By learning to nourish Jing we begin to stop any “leaking” of this energy, and therefore cease to be in states of exhaustion and restore this energy so that our body can grow deep roots of health to grow upon. When the Jing is strong and being used sustainably we experience healthy hormones, less stress, a rocking libido and strong bones, back, hips and knees. Mason covers the primary herbs and practices needed to ensure healthy levels of Jing in the body, this is our first step to ensuring a nice long, healthy life is experienced.   In this podcast you will learn: -How stress leaks your life essence. -Why Jing is the key to great digestive fire. -The keys to ensuring your libido is rocking. -What is Jing and why does it live in the kidneys. -Why the JING blend is a key for long term energy. -The key principles to stop leaking Jing and start accumulating it. -Why weak knees, hips and lower back are a sign of deficient Jing. -How kidney health determines the capacity of ALL your vital organs. -The best herbs to build back your core Jing energy and how to take them. -How to get away from being exhausted and start building energy in your organs   Resources “What is Jing and How To Cultivate it” Article https://www.superfeast.com.au/blogs/superblog/what-is-jing-and-how-to-cultivate-it 30 Days of JING Challenge https://www.superfeast.com.au/blogs/superblog/30-days-of-jing-challenge-to-restore-core-energy JING tonic recipehttps://www.superfeast.com.au/blogs/superblog/instant-jing-recipe JING blendhttps://www.superfeast.com.au/products/jing-kidney-and-adrenal-tonic Deer antler velvethttps://www.superfeast.com.au/products/deer-antler-powdered-extract SuperFeast Instagram@superfeast   Check Out The Transcript Here: https://www.superfeast.com.au/blogs/articles/jing-energy-with-mason-taylor-ep-02

#01 What is Tonic Herbalism? with Tahnee McCrossin

Today at SuperFeast headquarters, Mason and Tahnee talk all things Daoist (Taoist) tonic herbalism. What the heck is Daoism? Don’t worry, by the end of this discussion, you’ll be all over this ancient philosophy (especially when it comes to herbal practice!). SuperFeast prides itself on respecting the ancient tradition of tonic herbalism that emerged through the Orient, respecting the ancient wisdom from those before us. Mason and Tahnee dive deep into how the ancient tonic herbalists lived and how we, the modern human, can learn and incorporate these practices into our daily lifestyles. Exactly how does our current Western lifestyle affect us? The lifestyle which disturbs our circadian rhythms and promotes us being out of flow with the natural cycles of nature? Short answer - degeneration and ageing; we’re here to change that. Listen to join us on this mission.   In this episode you will learn: - Daoist tonic herb philosophy. - What Qi is and how it animates you. - Transformation through these herbs. - Macrocosm vs microcosm of herbalism. - Why an adaptable mind allows for epic health. - Why longevity isn’t an overnight phenomenon. - The formula for good Qi flowing through the body. - Why women should have as much sex as they like. - How to prevent having “flabby” immune systems. - How to become a ‘somanaut’ through the tonic herbs. - Why separation from nature is the root cause of illness. - Why we’re dropping reishi bombs of consciousness around the world. - Tonic herbs are multi-directional and their benefits accumulate over time. - One of the missing links in Western philosophy, the energetics of herbs. - Why we search for the path of least resistance in health and herbal practice. - We provide good quality, epic, non-irradiated wild herbs - based on Di Dao (Di Tao) principles. - Quick overview of the three treasures Qi, Jing and Shen - more in future episodes!   Resources SuperFeast Websitesuperfeast.com.au (sign up to the epic SuperFeast newsletter for 10% off your first order!)
