Serendipity Strikes Twice: How a Facebook Post and Suitcases Connected the Dots
In this episode, I share two incredible serendipitous moments that happened recently through our involvement with Friends of Honduran Children (FOHC). From supporting three children at an orphanage in Honduras to starting a small business with two talented girls, the connections we've made are nothing short of miraculous. The first serendipity struck when a Facebook post about handcrafted greeting cards connected us with someone who had supported these exact same two girls years ago. The second came when a group member's search for used suitcases on Facebook Marketplace led to an unexpected act of generosity from someone who had ALSO been to the same orphanage. Join me as I explore how these happy accidents happened and reflect on the power of connection, community, and the unexpected. It's proof that the world is smaller than we think, and amazing things can happen when you least expect them!
