We have to think about the purchase price, the refurb cost, the builder, who’s managing the builder, finding and managing tenants, and doing all the paperwork. So the question is, should we just purchase a ready-made HMO? In today’s episode, I am joined by Ricci and Louise of Perfect Abode and if you’re new to HMOs, this episode will definitely inspire you to get started. Ricci is a trained plumbing and heating engineer and has been working on building sites since he was 18 while Louise has a degree in business and has a very strong corporate background. Whether we like it or not, at some point in time, as a HMO landlord, we are going to be the recipient of complaints. It could be from your tenant, your tenant’s parents, the council, the tradesmen, there’s a whole host of people who might be inclined to complain about our products or services to get incentivised. My advice is to make sure you're prepared, and that means having this in your arsenal!  Got any questions?
