Jeremiah got his real estate license, studied, Listened to podcasts and found a Mentor at a weekend seminar in Denver. He worked Acquisitions for these local Real Estate Investors for three and a half years. He learned the business from investors that were in the business and doing it well. (Note: This is a great way for any new investor who wants to break into the business. Go work for someone who is actively doing the aspect of real estate that you want to get into!) BACK TO JEREMIAH: After Jeremiah brought his wife, Heather, to Flip Hacking Live last year in San Diego, they both decided it was time. Last November they decided to go out on their own. Jeremiah and Heather live in Denver Colorado but invest in Wichita, Kansas. HOW TO FIND A GREAT MARKET: You won't find any market that is recession proof. Look at the trends. Look to the local real estate commission. Look at the census data to find out where the population is going... Facebook was also a really good tool in building out a team and building a buyers list.
