Just minutes after NXT WarGames 2021 went off the air, host Adam Silverstein jumped on the mic to break down the first special event of the NXT 2.0 era. With the first pay-per-view of its era set to go down, NXT WarGames presents an opportunity for WWE to put its best foot forward with its developmental brand. The guys were thrilled with the Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair opener but felt nearly everything went downhill from there, including a Roman Reigns vs. Big E main event that failed to live up to expectations. Adam and Chris break down both big bouts, the traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination matches and everything else on the show as they provide grades and wonder whether this was a bump in the road or the future of WWE PPVs. AEW began moving past Full Gear -- for most of its major storylines, at least -- while NXT kicked off its build for the latest edition of WarGames.
