WWE: Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar will never end, Liv Morgan steps up
WWE is quickly building towards its Day 1 pay-per-view despite plenty of time remaining until the event. Host Adam Silverstein and co-host Chris Vannini open the show with a look at the suddenly drastic decline in quality of SmackDown, WWE's uneven rosters and its inconsistent booking at a key time for the company. The guys kick things off with The Main Event [16:45] where they discuss a seemingly never-ending Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar feud, wasting Sami Zayn's title contention, throwing Big E vs. Kevin Owens in a steel cage on a random Raw, Bobby Lashley's strange insertion into the WWE title picture and whether Liv Morgan stepped up in her big moment vs. Becky Lynch. Next, "The Silver King" and "Vintage" look at The Good, The Bad and The Ugly from this week in WWE [52:15], including Edge vs. The Miz, Toni Storm vs. Charlotte Flair, women finally getting longer matches, ignoring the midcard titles and Vince McMahon's on-air role with Austin Theory. NXT WarGames 2021 instant analysis, results, grades: Johnny Gargano's farewell?
Just minutes after NXT WarGames 2021 went off the air, host Adam Silverstein jumped on the mic to break down the first special event of the NXT 2.0 era. With TakeOvers now a thing of the past, NXT focused on building its young talent in a set of five matches against veterans of the black and gold era. "The Silver King" discusses each match by diving into the results before providing grades and looking ahead at what's next. The men's WarGames match was perfectly booked with Johnny Gargano's potential departure serving as the top storyline, while the women's WarGames match featured some big spots but ultimately presented a clunky finish despite one of the best injury sell jobs of the year from Cora Jade. Imperium vs. Kyle O'Reilly & Von Wagner for the NXT tag team titles surprised as Fabian Aichner had his breakout moment in what may be O'Reilly's penultimate match in WWE. Plus, has Adam finally come around to LA Knight? And late-breaking news on Jeff Hardy. Follow Getting Over on Twitter @GettingOverCast.

Adam then dives into AEW as the company continues building for its Winter is Coming special [33:50]. While Dynamite and Rampage were not particularly great shows, the "Hangman" Adam Page vs. Bryan Danielson and CM Punk vs. MJF storylines continue to be top-tier. WWE Survivor Series 2021 instant analysis, results, grades
Just minutes after WWE Survivor Series 2021 went off the air, host Adam Silverstein and co-host Chris Vannini convene to break down the results from one of WWE's big four pay-per-views, this one with SmackDown and Raw going head-to-head. While "The Silver King" and "Vintage" have been bullish recently about WWE's major shows, this one disappointed. The guys were thrilled with the Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair opener but felt nearly everything went downhill from there, including a Roman Reigns vs. Big E main event that failed to live up to expectations. Adam and Chris break down both big bouts, the traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination matches and everything else on the show as they provide grades and wonder whether this was a bump in the road or the future of WWE PPVs. Other topics include: Vince McMahon's big gold egg, The Rock not appearing, poor women's booking revealing itself and WWE trying too hard to protect all its superstars at once. AEW, NXT: Bryan Danielson turns, CM Punk vs. MJF; WarGames build begins
AEW began moving past Full Gear -- for most of its major storylines, at least -- while NXT kicked off its build for the latest edition of WarGames. Host Adam Silverstein breaks down both brands with an in-depth look at what happened on TV this week and how booking may move forward from here. "The Silver King" starts with AEW [3:50] where Bryan Danielson turned heel while stepping up to new champion "Hangman" Adam Page, CM Punk is headed for a feud with MJF and Kenny Omega looks to be time off. Other topics from AEW Dynamite and Rampage include feuds that must end, Britt Baker's screen time and the debuts of Tomohiro Ishii and Jay Lethal. Next up is NXT [27:34] where Adam examines Bron Breakker remaining the top challenger for Tommaso Ciampa; booking for the women's WarGames match with Raquel Gonzalez, Dakota Kai, Toxic Attraction and Io Shirai starring; a potential double turn; and concerns over the long-term survival of NXT given its change in direction.
