One Thing: Don't be shaken or alarmed about the end
because our God will still be in control then.
I. Shaken and alarmed by wrong teaching about the end (vv.1-3a)
II. Stabilizing minds and hearts with right teaching about the end (vv.3b-12)
The man of lawlessness will be revealed but in God’s timing (vv.3b-8)
The rebellion will come but by God’s judgment (vv.3b, 9-12)
How do we keep from being shaken in our minds, alarmed, and deceived? We must be on guard.
Be on guard against deception by getting the gospel in your mind.
Be on guard against unbelief by checking the love of your heart.
Be on guard knowing that Jesus is powerfully guarding our souls.
