In this series, "Rediscover Jesus," we will study the Gospel of Luke from chapter 12, which recorded the Lord's public ministry in the area of Galilee. This will be for Christians to learn directly from Jesus about what it means to be his disciples living together as a church. This will also be for others- like former church-goers, people from other religions, or non-religious people- to discover Jesus for the first time.

For this year's easter service, Pastor John preached over John 20:1-31, with the one thing: See for yourself that Jesus is the resurrected Christ, and believe in him to have eternal life. Three lessons on faith in Jesus from his resurrection: 1) Faith in Jesus must be secured to his Word (vv.8-10) 2) Faith in Jesus is strengthened by his peace (vv.17, 19-21) 3) Faith in Jesus, to deepen through doubts, requires his grace (vv.29-31)

For our Good Friday service this year, Pastor John preached over John 19:1-30. With the one thing for the sermon: "Surrender your all to Jesus, the King of All, for he surrendered his authority to die for us.". The three main characters dealing with authority at the crucifixion: 1) Pilate selfishly abused his God-given authority. 2) The Jews rebelliously rejected God as their authority. 3) Our Savior King humbly surrendered his authority.
