(This comes across clearly in the NLT translation). I used to understand it that way However other translations like ESV are less clear and it seems more likely in context to be meaning 120 years until the flood comes? 3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not put up with humans for such a long time, for they are only mortal flesh. In the future, their normal lifespan will be no more than 120 years."
