The disappearance of Stacy Arras is one of the more intriguing Missing 411 cases. Not because it is so baffling or inexplicable, but because it was handled in so strange a manner. Often cited as a story of God's cruelty and indifference, Job is, in reality, far more complex than that. Possibly a compilation of an old Jewish story and later Greek influenced philosophical dialogue, the book details the trials of the most righteous man of the day, the wealthy and successful Job. Satan is  invited to tempt God's greatest servant, only to fail in breaking his faith. I have some thoughts on the confession of Brian Laundrie. In September of 2021, I received a snapchat message from one of my followers, asking if I could post about his sister, Gabby Petito, who had gone missing a couple of days prior. She was hiking with her boyfriend, Brian Laundrie. I immediately posted about it, using the story given to me by her younger brother, TJ. There were, at the time of posting, four videos using the hashtag I was asked to use. To say that the events which followed shocked me is an understatement. Within a week it was national news. It was not long, of course, before Brian himself went missing from his family home in Florida. The Laundries lawyered up and refused to cooperate, before eventually injecting themselves into the search effort and immediately finding what they claimed were the remains of their son. We posted a video, linked below, on October 23rd, giving our thoughts on the story to that point. With the release of "Brian's" confession, obtained from the FBI by the Laundrie family's lawyer, Steven Bertolino, I feel it is time to revisit things and give my opinion on the case once again.   Everything stated in this video is my own opinion, and does not reflect the opinion of the Petito family, their lawyers, or anyone else involved in the ongoing lawsuit. We often are confronted with legends and folktales that appear to us as otherworldly, but in many cases, the origins of these stories can be found in very real phenomena. Changelings, once thought to be replacement children left behind by the Fae, likely were an early explanation for autism and other social challenges.
