Episode 3 - Autistic at 40
Our guest on Episode 3 is Toni B, creator and host of the podcast 'Autistic at 40'. After a lifetime of existential confusion, wondering if there was any place for her in this world, along with the pain and shame of knowing that she was different but never understanding *why* Toni stumbled by chance upon a YouTube video about autistic masking, just around the same time she was wondering whether it was possible to carry on living. It was in this way that Toni, a health policy professional, discovered she was autistic - at 40. Toni is now on a mission to share everything she has learned about her autistic life - for the purpose that some of it may help others make sense of their too.Get in touch with ToniConnect with CatherineThe SENSE Retreat 10-14th October 2025, Yorkshire, UKCome and join Catherine and team at the first of its kind retreat at the beautiful Broughton Sanctuary in Yorkshire, designed for people who experience the world in a deeply sensitive and profound way. Episode 2 - Change the Narrative
Our guest on episode 2 is ex-Olympic Rower and Founder of Neurodiverse Sport, Caragh McMurtry. Caragh talks to host Catherine Asta about her late discovered autism diagnosis, how she was misdiagnosed as having bipolar disorder during what should have been the peak of her athletic career, and why she is now fiercely focused on changing the narrative around neuroinclusion and neurodiversity in sport through education, so that other neurodivergent athletes don’t suffer in the way she has. Episode 1 - Be the Change
Our guest on our first ever episode is me, Catherine Asta, the Creator and Host of The Late Discovered Club.Having always been the champion of other peoples stories, I thought it was time to champion some of my own story. In this first episode, it’s just me, bravely and vulnerably sharing some of my late discovery story with you. Because I want to lead this podcast by example, and it turns out I have quite a lot I want to say.Connect with CatherineVisit Catherine's website The SENSE Retreat 10-14th October 2025, Yorkshire, UKCome and join Catherine and team at the first of its kind retreat at the beautiful Broughton Sanctuary in Yorkshire, designed for people who experience the world in a deeply sensitive and profound way.
