Adjusting to New Seasons
Y'all today’s episode is so close to my heart. This story holds so much value in knowing and loving the seasons we are IN. Learning to lean into what God is showing us and trusting Him to help us in the process. I share the story of adjusting to life after a really sweet season and stepping outside of my selfishness to truly meet people that God needed me to meet. I share how staying in the same season will never work and God must use each one to teach us a newlesson. So grab a cup of coffee and pull up a chair for today’s story about every day dishes.

Flashback Friday: A seat at the table
Y’all Flashback Friday is one of my favorite things I do on this show! It’s in these episodes where I sit down with my Dad and the two of us share stories of the past. Family stories. The one’s that we remember and the ones that have been told to us so many times we think we lived it too. Join us while we laugh and CRY A LOT over the stories that give us so much hope and joy. So pull up a chair and a cup of coffee, it’s Flashback Friday.

Father's Day: "I ain't goin' anywhere"
Happy Father’s Day y’all! I am so excited about this hilarious Father’s Day story. So many of us have different experiences when it comes to our relationships with our fathers. This story, to me, shares so much about the importance of fathers and father figures in our lives. I am so grateful for my father and the example he set for me in my life. With this story, you hopefully will see how hilarious and embarrassing it is on my end, but how beautiful it is in representing my father’s heart. So join me around the podcast table for another hilarious and thoughtful episode. I hope y'all enjoy!

Y'all Interview: Ray Hughes
Y'all today is gonna be so much fun! My guest today is the one and only Ray Hughes. I first heard Ray speak at a church service nearly 4 years ago and I was hooked by his way of teaching. HE TOLD STORIES. the kind that hold your attention and make you nostalgic for a time in which you never lived. He can share the gospel in a way that no one else can. Ray is a husband, father, minister, well known speaker, world traveler, writer, poet, songwriter, podcaster, craftsman, and just a good old fashioned country boy. Born and raised in Kentucky, Ray can tell the stories of the south the way only a southern can tell them. I am so grateful and completely humbled to have had the opportunity to sit at his feet. I originally was going to share his episode in 2021, but the words and truth that he has to share about the global pandemic we have faced was too good to wait around another year to share. Because of the pandemic, internet was well used and forced us to connect via facetime. Y'all I'm grateful for it. I felt like I was sitting with an old friend, just one I had never met before! If you want to find more information about Ray, check out his website RayHughes.org OR check out his podcast called “The Listening Porch.” I assure you you will not be disappointed! I loved having Ray on the show and I hope you do the same!

It shows her heart and the way she cared so much about me in a time that my heart really needed both sympathy and a little tough love. I hope today gives you encouragement as a mama that sometimes you can change your mind and sometimes it’s in doing so that gives your kiddo just what they need! So pull up a chair and a cup of coffee and your mama memories for today’s story. I am so glad you are here!
