NOTA BENE: This Week in the Art World

Nate and Benjamin are joined by secondary market maven Lock Kresler who highlights what he noticed last week and is looking forward to in this week's major New York auctions.  This one is in depth and super smart. Don't pick up the call for your phone bids until you have had a chance to listen. 

Benjamin and Nate are joined by Guest Host Mills Moran for a podcast recorded live from the Mansion on Turtle Creek. Then it's a quick preview of this week's ADAA fair in New York City. They are then joined by Bill Powers, writer, reality TV game show host and, most importantly the founder of Half Gallery.  Bill discusses his history and the import of acting as a cultural repository and amplifier. And finally Benjamin highlights some of the great work on sale in this Saturday's Two X Two For AIDS and Art auction in Dallas, Texas In the second half of the pod Benjamin speaks with Abu Dhabi Art Fair director Dyala Nusseibeh about the forthcoming edition of the fair, her history in the arts, the new museums opening in Abu Dhabi, the role of boutique sized art fairs and the best things to eat and visit when visiting on your visit to the fair.
