Wheew! Knicks get a huge win against a hot Philadelphia 76ers. This game was indicative of the Knicks resiliency and strong bench. Evan Fournier came in after collecting dust on the bench, he drops 17 point! Miles McBride number was called, he dropped 14 points! RJ Barrett unfortunately was ruled out late in this game with a non COVID related sickness. In the first quarter, Philly was just rolling through our defense. Knicks were down 21 at some point. The Knicks bench came in and lit a fire under the Knicks and stormed us back into the game. Julius Randle with another near triple double, he ended with 24/9/7. Knicks come back and win 108-97! Knicks take a heart breaking loss to the Clippers of Los Angeles. Yet another cardiac affair form the Knicks in a game that needed extra time to find a winner. After a strong outing vs Miami, RJ Barrett regressed in this game. He went 6/21 which includes 1/8 from 3pt land. Just an awful game for someone whos recently been upset with his recent benching in close game similar to this. Jalen Brunson carried this team as much as he possibly could. He ended with 41/7/5 and was torching the Clippers in the 4th Quarter and stormed a comeback along with the bench when the Knicks were down 17. Julius with a near triple double boosted the Knicks as well, he ended with 28/11/7. This was looking like an ultimate comeback by the Knicks but a simple missed rebound that would've sealed the deal was missed by RJ Barrett and Batum knocked down a buzzer neater to take this game into OT and the rest was history. Knicks win in regular Knicks fashion! What would a win be without the Knicks causing stress to all Knicks fans to be glued to their TV with a pulse well over 100 BPM. To start this game off the Knicks when on a bit of a run held a lead of 10+ in the first quarter. Julius Randle, the newly named All Star, knocked down early 3PT balls to get the party started. With Mitch still out Bam Adebayo took full advantage of Jericho Sims and Isaiah Hartenstein on the defensive end. Bam finished with 32/9. Knicks take another heart breaking loss, this time to the Los Angeles Lakers in OT. After a night off against the Nets Lebron laced his boots to play at the Garden and he did show out. Lebron got himself a trouble double making this his 6th one against the Knicks at the Garden. The pace of this game was very slow to begin then started to pick up towards the middle of the second quarter. Quickley came in and injected some energy into the game which gave the game some flow. Towards the end of the 4th quarter Knicks were able to get a defensive stop by drawing a charge on LeBron, the game was tied at that point. With 4 seconds left Knicks weren't able to get a game winner and lead us into OT. In OT Knicks overall crumbled, a few costly turnovers and questionable calls by refs lead to the Lakers getting the W.
