Our guests Inside the ICE House, Mister E and King Saladeen, stopped by the New York Stock Exchange to check out examples of their artwork which now hangs on our walls, a contrast to the centuries-old portraits and artifacts that grace other parts of our building. The young artists have made names for themselves by juxtaposing the business of art and the art of money. Not many ballplayers use a day off of the 162-game schedule to geek out at the New York Stock Exchange, but not many MLB pitchers are like Ross Stripling, a licensed stock broker. Stripling sat down with us in the ICE House to break down his investment strategies and his 1.99 ERA in 10 starts with the Dodgers. While in the minor leagues, he hedged on his baseball career by working at an investment firm. Ross’s 2018 season is off to an All-Star caliber start, but he is still finding time to invest in the seasons to come.

Chairman and CEO Bradley Feldmann of Cubic Corporation visited the ICE House to train our sights on his company efforts to decrease urban congestion, help in disaster relief, and prepare the military for the battlefield of tomorrow. Our conversation stretches from improving subway riding experiences across the globe to Cubic’s United States Navy Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program, made famous by Tom Cruise in 1986’s Top Gun. She started on the Trading Floor, and most recently was the Exchange’s COO, where she led the strategy for its equities, equity derivatives and exchange-traded funds businesses.
