#36 - The Nonduality Podcast - Finding Yourself Everywhere And Nowhere
Paul Dobson and nondual therapist Nic Higham talk about Finding Yourself Everywhere And Nowhere.
Consciousness inherits a conceptual framework through which to perceive and interact with itself. The mind seeks to try and resolve the conceptual with more concepts. We’ve taken ourselves to be the mind and its words. We’ve taken the words to be the truth. In spirituality, if we can even call it spirituality, we're not seeking to reconfigure concepts. We’re seeking the actual nature of the conceptual, of the mind, of anything that can be known. Just have a really good look directly. That’s the beginning. Everything that you are experiencing is you. You are the whole experience. It’s all the same source. Whatever is making the planet spin, is making the trees grow and your cells regenerate. It’s an unfolding of just incomprehensible, inconceivable intelligence. It’s now and it always is now. It’s just this. It’s not about upgrading anything or redefining anything. It’s just about this suchness, this isness of this timeless moment in which you are absolutely engaged because you are it. You literally only ever find yourself. Everywhere you go you only ever find yourself.

#35 - The Nonduality Podcast - Joan Tollifson - The Unity of the Transcendent and the Personal
Paul Dobson speaks with nonduality author and teacher Joan Tollifson.
The stories that the mind tells are just stories or thoughts. They’re never really true. We have a certain view, but we don’t really know anything. When we go into the sensory reality of anything, there is nothing solid there at all in the space of awareness. When you actually tune into the actuality of the body, it's not solid at all nor separate from its environment. The whole spiritual path is really just about seeing through delusion. The more we recognise the fluidity of everything and the insubstantiality of our ideas, the more we’re able to be at ease with things being exactly the way they are, which doesn't mean we might not do something to change things. One moment there is transcendence, and the next there is the personal story. Neither need be dismissed. But there can be a noticing that there is one whole appearing in this aware space.

Nonduality Meditation - The Unconditional Receptivity of Awareness 200720
As ever in these nonduality meditations with Nic Higham, the invitation is to enquire into your direct experience. There is nothing to learn here, to impart to, transmit. No magic tricks. Only reality as it is. Only this moment, this presence as it is. When we enquire into this, we are not seeking understanding in terms of something the mind can grab hold of and own. We're simply resting into what already is. You already know what is. You're never not here, never not now, never not present, never not aware. Just be. There is no need to work out what this being is, to understand it, even to find it. Without effort, what is there to understand? You simply are. When we are conscious of our presence, we say, think, or feel "I am." This 'I am-ness', as Nisargadatta Maharaj called it, is the recognition of your being here, now.

#34 - The Nonduality Podcast - Life's Unconditional Inclusivity
The Nonduality Podcast with Paul Dobson and nondual therapist and coach Nic Higham from http://www.nisargayoga.org/
What is nonduality? There appear to be separate individual beings who have their own existence and who are separate from each other. The mind derives its knowledge from observation of the actual. However, knowledge itself is not actual. It’s nothing but a symbol of That which is beyond the symbol. There has to be a separate existence of something else to be a separate experiencer, and there isn’t. You can't find one anywhere. It's all one seamless flow. All is reality. All is life. There is no division. Everything is, in the truest sense, absolutely one. There’s a radical inclusivity, an unconditional acceptance. It's not about even trying to cultivate love and compassion. The awareness that you are is already loving. It’s all completely allowed no matter what your mind is coming up with or telling you. The notions we have about ourselves and life eventually disintegrate, because the hard truth is they are only concepts only. They are constructs only.

#33 - The Nonduality Podcast - Bradley Bemis - The Fluid Nature of the Awakening Journey
The Nonduality podcast with Nic Higham. Our guest is Bradley Bemis.
We explore the nondual awakening or enlightenment journey from dreaming, seeking, awakening, deepening to ceasing.
Most of us are living from our unquestioned assumptions until something happens in our experience that causes us to begin to question. We move from that place of unquestioned assumptions to acknowledging that something in our experience needs our attention. Something breaks open in our own direct experience and we say to ourselves, “I really don't know anything at all!” There is a recognition of why there can’t be an answer to be found. If you come to terms with the fact there is no answer, the quality of seeking dissipates. The flame goes out.
Bradley Bemis is an Orlando-based spiritual author, teacher, and guide who fully embodies the nondual wisdom and compassion of awakeness.

#32 - The Nonduality Podcast - The Unresolvable Flow Of Experience
The Nonduality Podcast with nonduality author and nondual therapist Nic Higham and Paul Dobson. There’s an idea in the spiritual search that our true Self is in some place far away. This moment is not good enough. It’s not there yet. We think, “I’m not there yet. I have to be good enough to be accepted into the realm of completeness.”
What do we really know? All we have are symbols, a bunch of representations. It always comes back to the same thing. I can know ‘I am’ and that something appears to be happening, although I don’t know what that is. Experience is happening. Awareness is happening. “I don’t have a clue what this is anymore”, says Paul Dobson. “Being comfortable with that fact leaves the door open for freedom, because you know that your interpretations can’t possibly be the thing. Realising you were never in prison.”
There is just simply the flow of ‘is-ness’ and that is what you are. “You don’t need to try to navigate, fight block or accept,” says Nic Higham. “It’s all accepted, not by ‘me’ as a person, but by ‘me’ as Reality. You are seeking Reality in Reality, as Reality.”
This more you investigate into any appearance, you can only find the spontaneous flow of experience. You don’t find something caught in the flow when you really investigate. It’s a magnificent unfolding of absolute mystery. This isn’t a philosophy, this is just within your present experience. Every part of Reality is the whole.
The ultimate mystery is that there is no mystery.
