Ep. 219: The Evil Nature of Woke Culture, with Noelle Mering

My guest this week is Noelle Mering, author of the book, Awake Not Woke: A Christian Response to the Cult of Progressivism. The Woke phenomenon has been covered on this show before, but not in the more well-rounded manner in which we cover it in this episode. Noelle and I discuss the tenets of Wokeism, but we also get into the darker, more evil aspects of it as we talk about the spiritual warfare at play here. On the surface, the folks we would call "woke" may seem like people we can laugh at and call crazy. In reality, there's more to it than that, and we get several layers deep in this discussion. Ep. 218: The Makings of the NPC, with David Patrick Harry

My guest this week is the brilliant and entertaining David Patrick Harry from Church of the Eternal Logos. David and I discuss the makeup and theology of the NPC, that is, the non-playable character. NPCs are all around us, and you likely have friends, coworkers, and family members who are NPCs. It's one thing to just poke fun at them and laugh, but we more so get into what forces are behind the perpetuation of the NPC, the danger they pose, and why this is happening. When one is an empty vessel, he or she can be filled with anything that the corporate and state powers-that-be want to fill that vessel with. This is a great one. Ep. 217: It Takes Humility to Understand What's Happening, with Father Turbo Qualls

In one of my favorite conversations ever, I had Father Turbo Qualls on the show. Fr. Turbo is the rector at St. Mary of Egypt, Serbian Orthodox Church in Kansas City, Missouri, where he lives with his wife Juliana and their 8 children. As a (now retired) tattoo artist and former member of a punk rock band, Fr. Turbo grew up in Orange County, California, in the counterculture scene. That gave him a perspective that he carried through his libertarian political views and even into his Orthodox Christian view of the world. We discuss many topics here, and Fr. Turbo really gets into the humility it takes to not only understand what is happening to us and around us, but the humility it takes to find the real Truth, and what that means. This society is wrapped up in a shallow, materialistic nihilism that makes it easy to fall into the snares of evil. To counter that -- and it is mainstream -- it takes humility and a genuine search for Truth and love. For more of Fr. Turbo's content, go here: For his Church site, go here: Sponsors: Texas Scorecard: , , The GOP Mises Caucus: Paloma Verde CBD ( ): Enter code BUCK at checkout for 20% off your order! Ep. 216: The Implications of the ESG Score, with Tommy Salmons

My guest this week is the host of the Year Zero podcast and writer/content producer at the Libertarian Institute, Tommy Salmons. Tommy wrote a nice piece on ESG Scoring and what all it entails. He and I delve into this topic, and he explains it in a way that is easy to follow. The implications of the ESG system will be painful to many of us and will be felt for a long time if something isn't done to stop it soon. Let this be your one stop shop for a total understanding of the ESG system, and definitely share this one with friends and family. Ep. 215: False Flags and Perfect Storms, with Monica Perez

I am so happy to finally get Monica Perez on the show this week. Monica is the host of the Propaganda Report podcast and Deep Dives, with Monica Perez, where she analyzes one of the top stories of the day from a perspective of truth, liberty, and justice. Monica was a radio host for 8.5 years on WSB Radio in Atlanta before she was unceremoniously dismissed. She's more than welcome on Counterflow, and this week, we cover a litany of topics. Monica is very adept at discerning what is propaganda and what is real information. We discuss that as well as false flags and the fact that they aren't always needed. Sometimes, there are incentives in place and the "perfect storm" is created for the regime to take advantage of. Monica and I also discuss how her political views have changed post-2020. I think you will really enjoy this chat. For more of Monica's work, check out the following sites: Sponsors: Paloma Verde CBD ( ): Enter code BUCK at checkout for 20% off your order! Ep. 214: The Most Canceled Man in America, with Jason Rink

Jason Rink is back on the show this week. Jason is a documentary filmmaker whose many recent works are deemed too controversial by many in the Libertarian world. His newest documentary is on Nick Fuentes and was set to show at a libertarian film festival, but they canceled the film and the discussion panel about the film. In a painful twist of irony, he was offered to be on a panel discussing the topic of cancel culture. We also discuss the latest show trial on the events of January 6th, as Jason was actually at the Capitol that day. Ep. 213: The Last True Rebellion, with Justin Marler

I am honored to have Justin Marler on with me this week. Justin is one of the first members of the band Sleep, as well as the creator of the 'zine "Death to the World". DTTW was an Orthodox Christian handmade magazine with a metal/punk rock aesthetic that Justin created when he was a Monk at the St. Herman's of Alaska Orthodox Monastery in Platina, CA. Justin came of age in the Bay Area punk rock scene, living with guys from Green Day and Rancid in a club/warehouse in the East Bay. They were a brotherhood united in rebelling against the norms and ways of the modern world... that was until he noticed that he was still longing for something more fulfilling and less nihilistic. He happened to meet an Orthodox Christian nun who introduced him to Orthodoxy, and his world was forever changed. He became a Monk for seven years and lived what he realized was actually the last true rebellion. We discuss this unique journey, his book, his 'zines, his music, and more. Ep. 212: The Nihilistic Spirit of Modern Feminism, with Julie Mastrine

My guest is writer, online marketing pro, and Director of Marketing at Allsides.com, Julie Mastrine. Julie has a heck of a story, and as we detail it, she brings to light many of the supposed "truths" we are taught about left-wing politics, New Age spirituality, and feminism. She was deep into all of those and had enough awareness to realize that it's all completely nihilistic and antithetical to true happiness. She discusses what lessons she learned along the way to being a productive, happy, and mentally and spiritually healthy woman and Orthodox Christian. Ep. 211: Miserable Women and Cowardly Men, with Dr. Mark McDonald

This week, Dr. Mark McDonald is back on the show, and you're in for an excellent episode. Dr. McDonald is a psychiatrist, author, and podcaster. Today we are discussing the phenomenon that is plaguing societies across the West: miserable women and cowardly men. He writes: "As a society, we have allowed this group to define our current social norms." Why is this happening? Which came first? Is it by design? We also get into young people and the fact that often, they do not know how to communicate. Why is this happening? What can be done about all of the problems discussed in this episode? Dr. Mark McDonald answers all this as well. Find Dr. Mark McDonald's substack here: Find his podcast here: Find his website here: Sponsors: Expat Money Summit: - Register for FREE! Ep. 210: The Culture War and Understanding Power, with Pete Quiñones

My guest today is the proprietor of my favorite Substack and the host of the Pete Quiñones Show, Pete Quiñones. Pete and I discuss some of the themes he's been writing about in his Substack newsletter.
