Are we INHERENTLY Inclined to do EVIL? Dostoevsky
Send us a textOne key question in Dostoevsky's philosophy is the idea of whether humans are naturally inclined to do evil. Are humans good? Are humans evil? Is there even a correct answer to this question. In this video extract, I try to answer this question and view Dostoevsky's philosophy from the perspective of Heideggarian thrownness, in other words, to say that it actually is a bit of both, that humans are simultaneously good and evil is something which has to be synthesised. --------------------------To check out more about my content feel free to go to my YouTube Channel Philosophy for All to access clips and extra discussionsSupport the show--------------------------If you would want to support the channel and what I am doing, please follow me on Patreon: www.patreon.com/christianityforall Where else to find Josh Yen: Philosophy YT: https://bit.ly/philforallEducation: https://bit.ly/joshyenBuisness: https://bit.ly/logoseduMy Website: https://joshuajwyen.com/

A Gentle Word DEFEATS Anger🔥✝️ | Verse of the Day
Send us a textA gentle word turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15:1. This verse teaches us to be kind and caring to those around us! We must not spread evil and anger through rash actions and decisions, but rather act in a gentle and kind-hearted manner! I encourage you all, brothers and sisters in Christ, to pray daily, to meditate on the love of God, and to those who have not yet come to Christ, pray about it, for he who seeks finds, and he who knocks would have the door opened for him!------------------Music:"Keys of Moon - The Epic Hero" is under a Creative Commons license (CC BY-SA 3.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/Music promoted by BreakingCopyright: https://bit.ly/the-epic-hero-song--------------------------To check out more about my content feel free to go to my YouTube Channel Philosophy for All to access clips and extra discussionsSupport the show--------------------------If you would want to support the channel and what I am doing, please follow me on Patreon: www.patreon.com/christianityforall Where else to find Josh Yen: Philosophy YT: https://bit.ly/philforallEducation: https://bit.ly/joshyenBuisness: https://bit.ly/logoseduMy Website: https://joshuajwyen.com/

Dostoevsky's BEST Book on Christian Existentialism
Send us a textDostoevsky is almost inseparable from Christian existentialism. As a result, in this video, I summarise why I think that The Idiot is his best work on this topic. Evidently, one may suggest that Notes from Underground deserves praise and a mention. I would agree, however, that is more of a contribution to the existentialist movement alone instead of the Christian existentialist movement.

For in the end we would be able to see God! Have trust and faith in HIM and HE WILL reward you and comfort you!I encourage you all, brothers and sisters in Christ to pray daily, to meditate on the love of God, and to those who have not yet come to Christ, pray about it, for he who seeks finds, and he who knocks would have the door opened for him!--------------------------To check out more about my content feel free to go to my YouTube Channel Philosophy for All to access clips and extra discussionsSupport the show--------------------------If you would want to support the channel and what I am doing, please follow me on Patreon: www.patreon.com/christianityforall Where else to find Josh Yen: Philosophy YT: https://bit.ly/philforallEducation: https://bit.ly/joshyenBuisness: https://bit.ly/logoseduMy Website: https://joshuajwyen.com/
