After being diagnosed with Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (an incurable lung disease) back in 2014, Mike Olsen underwent an open lung biopsy surgery - and his health went downhill from there. He spent the next 5 years on oxygen 24/7 until he got the news that there were a set of lungs available for him. An ecstatic Mike was scheduled for a double lung transplant operation - during which he bled out and experienced a profound out-of-body experience that briefly took him to heaven, where he met his organ donor.
