Send us a textThe Type Eight guest this week is actually a pastor couple- Jimmy and Kristin Scroggins who have dedicated more than twelve years to create a Christ-centered community at Family Church and over 25 years in their home with their kids. Jimmy leads as an Enneagram Eight and Kristin leads as an Enneagram Two, so I thought it would be fabulous to hear the dynamic of using the Enneagram in marriage, parenting, and leadership. Send us a textWhen I helped Samantha discover she led as a type 6 suddenly her life story began to click, the decisions she made, the struggles she had, and her fierce loyalty (that didn’t always serve her) suddenly made sense. We first met over coffee, just across the Stateline in KS at one of my favorite healthy eateries, we chatted and planned out a fall speaking event for Wise Women, but then the conversation turned personal. She was fascinated by the Enneagram, yet figuring out her dominant type was a challenge, so she asked for my help. Today, Samantha is going to share a little about her personality discovery, the freedom she has experienced through my one-on-one coaching program, and how operating in her superpower has led to a ton of joy in her career choice. Send us a textI don’t know about you, but I love the idea of systems, except for one minor problem- systems threaten my ideas of spontaneity and seem, boring! Since becoming a mom, I’ve learned the value of systems and I’ve made it a habit to do my best to learn from others who are naturally better at systems than I am. I’ve done my fair share of system guru searching and some have worked and others, well not so much. But, today, I think you will appreciate the practical and super helpful system advice from Laura Hernandez. Laura leads as an Enneagram three and I’ve learned this personality excels in teaching paths to success in the arenas they are passionate and knowledgable about- much like our Enneagram One and Five friends. I’m going to let Laura share how her Mom Systems began- but a little sneak peek might have something to do with the number of children she has.
