Anthropomorphism is the attribution of human characteristics or behaviour to a god, animal, or object. In dog training, it typically refers to attributing human emotions, behaviours, or characteristics onto our furry friends (perhaps, even, our "fur babies"). What are the potential consequences of this? A dog is not a human - treating them as such can have negative implications for the relationship between an owner and their dog.
