As followers of Jesus, we know this world is not our true home. But the reality is, we don’t always lead lives that reflect the fact that we were made for more. God has called each of us to holiness. Instead of focusing on the here and now, we were created to live with the joy of a future with Him in mind. Our good friend John Bevere was with us as we celebrated 35 years of Victory! He brought a timely word to carry with us throughout each day as we interact with others on our journey with Jesus.

John was given a beautiful vision of the new heaven and earth. One day, Jesus will return as King, and He will vindicate His people who are found faithful. When He comes, all things will be made new, we will live and work in harmony with God forever, and the fulfillment of every last one of His promises will come to pass!

When Jesus was born, it was a fulfillment of the prophecy that a Savior, the King, would come to earth. He went to the cross and died for the sins of the world, and He rose again on the third day before He ascended into heaven. Just as Jesus came the first time, the Bible tells us that He is coming again. He has gone to prepare a place for us, His bride, and we are called to prepare ourselves for His return.
