We discuss her work with DC Inbox, a project analyzing all newsletters sent by members of Congress, and the book she published on a major element of that data, Congress and U.S. Veterans: From the GI Bill to the VA Crisis. Additionally, we talk in depth about her new project, a book she's working on about raising children who are civically savvy and engaged by the time they are old enough to participate in politics.
