Students and staff, along with the worldwide SMBC online family, gather to hear a Bible talk as well as prayers, engaging interviews and dives into cultural engagement. SMBC's mission is to create learning communities through which God prepares his people – theologically, spiritually, and practically – to serve Jesus in diverse contexts and cultures. Proverbs 5:1-23, 8:1-11 - Wisdom for Sexual Desire
What do you want? It’s uncomfortable to say out loud – most of us desire sex. Our desire might be a good gift, but every person needs wisdom for those desires. We need wisdom to train us that sex is for marriage. Indeed, the key to finding the good in sex is to value wisdom more than sex. When we seek God’s wisdom as greater than other desires, we are trained to honour sex in its right place – whether we are single or married.

1 Peter 4:12-19 - Participating in the Sufferings of Christ? Welcome to the Gym

He is using trials to mature us into his likeness, as a silversmith puts silver through the crucible’s fire to remove the dross and purify the silver.
