Abundant Life Sermons

As Christians in a world system that is increasingly hostile to the Gospel, we must aspire to be the salt of God's word and the light of God's love. It's the truth of God’s Word that preserves society from moral and spiritual decay. Salt is the truth we say, and the light is the love that we show. People aren’t changed by merely what we say but rather what they see.

The Church is the household of God. But if each member selfishly uses their unique gifts for themselves instead of contributing to the Church, it results in unhealthiness and weakness. We must use our gifts faithfully and we will see God’s Kingdom grow.

Our real hope is found in the gospel of Jesus Christ. As Christians, our first allegiance must be to the Kingdom of God and the multi-ethnic family of God. As Christians living in modern America, we have all been politicized, and we must renew our minds to think biblically, not politically.

When it comes to the invitation to join the movement of God, He doesn’t want something from you, He wants something for you. God's plan for the church is to live open-handed and outward focused and for His followers to be open-hearted and obedient.

We live in a society where many people compromise and get saturated in the sin of the world. To have a right relationship with God, you must seek to be holy. It's the repentance of sin that restores us to Him and the blood of Jesus Christ that can wash away the stain of our sin.

Hebrews warns us not to forsake meeting together, but to encourage one another. A healthy local church is one that is growing in new believers, going to the lost, and grounded in God’s Word. We must commit to living in biblical community.

The marriage between human philosophy and biblical theology leads to apostasy. We must aspire to follow the foundational beliefs essential to the Christian faith and stand for the truth of God's Word.

We live in a day where biblical Christianity is no longer mainstream. It's the suppression of truth, God's demotion, man's promotion, and moral destruction that will eventually lead to the moral ruin and destruction of a Christian nation. While sin brings death and destruction, our hope is found in the gospel that brings life and liberty.
