Ep 1048 | Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson & Joe Burrow Could All Miss the NFL Playoffs
On this episode of “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock is joined by Seth Joyner to discuss the possibility that Josh Allen, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow could all miss the NFL playoffs. They also analyze the AFC’s nightmare scenarios, with Drake Maye, Aaron Rodgers, Daniel Jones, and Bo Nix feasibly heading to the division playoffs and Justin Herbert, Trevor Lawrence, Davis Mills, and/or C.J. Stroud making the wild card. Whitlock and Joyner also cover A.J. Brown dodging a question about the dynamic between him and Jalen Hurts and hitting back at criticism against him by saying Saquon Barkley may not be performing to his potential either. They also talk about Shedeur Sanders becoming the NFL’s new Colin Kaepernick and the league’s biggest star. Whitlock notes Stephen A. Smith’s hypocrisy in calling Drake Maye a liar for saying he isn’t aware of Smith’s show and Ryan Clark correcting Smith and defending Maye. Whitlock offers his Fearless Five football picks of the week and discusses the WNBA players’ rejection of a new, much more lucrative salary plan. Coach J.B. joins the show to add his insights into the Josh Allen and AFC nightmare playoff scenario; what to expect from Shedeur Sanders starting this Sunday; whether the Houston Texans should stick with Davis Mills at the quarterback position; and Cam Newton saying the Patriots and Drake Maye are “fool’s gold.” Another can’t-miss show!

Ep 1047 | Blame Coach Prime for Shedeur Sanders’ Arrested Development, Not Kevin Stefanski
On this episode of “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock analyzes Shedeur Sanders’ recent press conference, which showed him to be an overgrown child. During the event, Sanders kept smiling and giggling and did not behave like a mature man. Whitlock explains why Sanders’ father, Coach Deion “Prime” Sanders, is to blame for Shedeur’s arrested development, not Cleveland Browns coach Kevin Stefanski. Whitlock addresses the fact that Stefanski is demonized by many in the sports media world for allegedly hating Shedeur, yet Stefanski meets with the quarterback every morning to go over film. Guest Steve Kim joins the show to offer insight into the Shedeur situation and to discuss Joe Burrow returning to full practice for the Bengals and reports that he will start this week when Cincinnati faces the New England Patriots. Whitlock and Kim also talk about Stephen A. Smith deriding Oxford, Mississippi, as a place “the brothers” don’t want to play football and why Smith thinks Lane Kiffin would be better off recruiting for a different school than Ole Miss. Jay Skapinac joins the show to break down Brandon Williams’ buzzer-beating layup being overturned as an offensive foul and whether the New York Knicks’ 113-111 victory over the Dallas Mavericks was fair. Whitlock and Skap also debate whether the Denver Nuggets’ Nikola Jokić is experiencing the NBA’s second-highest peak of all time. Whitlock ends the show with powerful commentary on the elementary-school children who beat up a pregnant mother and her son in Chicago. High-powered show today — don’t miss it!

Ep 1045 | ‘Tupac’ Shedeur Sanders OVERSHADOWS the Dallas Cowboys & Entire NFL
On this episode of “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock discusses how the Dallas Cowboys played last night and showed signs of life against the Los Angeles Raiders. While there would typically be chatter about the game and its implications for the season, social media remains fixated on Shedeur Sanders. Whitlock likens Sanders to a black Tim Tebow in the way he overshadows the NFL and also analogizes him to late rapper Tupac Shakur. Former NFL quarterback Danny Kanell joins the show to discuss Shedeur Sanders’ debut for the Browns last weekend and makes predictions about him starting in Cleveland’s upcoming game against the Raiders. Whitlock and Kanell also discuss Ja’Marr Chase being suspended for one game for spitting on Jalen Ramsey; Michael Penix suffering another injury that could be the fifth to end his season in eight years; Seth Joyner hinting that the Eagles might over their heads with Jalen Hurts at QB; Virginia Tech hiring James Franklin; whether Ole Miss Coach Lane Kiffin is a true difference-maker; and Bomani Jones being outraged by the Texas A&M state trooper incident and tying it to police brutality. Exciting and informative show today!

Ep 1044 | Shedeur Sanders FLOPS, Coach PrimeSexuals Blame Whitey | NFL Officiating Crisis Deepens
On this episode of “Fearless,” Jason Whitlock discusses Shedeur Sanders’ disastrous debut for the Cleveland Browns and unpacks the reasons Sanders and other black athletes, such as Colin Kaepernick, are championed, explaining that members of the sports media are conditioned to choose their heroes based on who white people dislike. Whitlock breaks down how white people are blamed for all black failure and how black-girl magic is credited with all black success. He illustrates his point with examples of prominent people caping for Shedeur and Shedeur himself begging for applause. Whitlock also lists his 10 NFL Truths of the week, covering everything from the league’s officiating crisis and Jonathan Taylor and Saquon Barkley being the best running backs in the league to the poor record of black quarterbacks and more. Steve Kim and T.J. Moe join the show to discuss Sanders’ failure; the NFL’s officiating crisis and how gambling accentuates the crisis; Ja’Marr Chase spitting on Jalen Ramsey; how crazy Whitlock is for not giving up on the Miami Dolphins; a Texas state trooper being relieved of his game-day duties after he bumped into some South Carolina players and pointed at them, evidently to scold them; and Bill Belichick sparking criticism for his postgame behavior with Wake Forest’s coach. Another riveting, can’t-miss show today!
