Episode 10 - Say it with Pride!

Have a comment? Send us a text! (We read all of them but can't reply). Email us: Will@faithfulpoliticspodcast.comThis is the first of several podcasts we plan on doing that touches on LGBTQ+ issues. We get to hear from Pastor Josh's Mother-in-Law, who shares her son's coming out story and get her unique perspective on how it affected her views of LGBTQ+ and the congregants of the church her husband pastors. Also Pastor Josh and Will lay our cards out on the table and provide the listeners where they stand on the subject. Lastly we touch on church's "come as you are" mantra and get some advice from Kelly to parents of children who are struggling to be their true selves. It's an emotional but very different Christian perspective on an issue, that is extremely complicated, but easily understood through the lens of love. As always, please visit our website: www.faithfulpoliticspodcast.com to get more info about the show, the host, and read some blogs!  Support the show🎧 Want to learn more about Faithful Politics, get in touch with the hosts, or suggest a future guest?πŸ‘‰ Visit our website: faithfulpoliticspodcast.com πŸ“š Check out our Bookstore – Featuring titles from our amazing guests:faithfulpoliticspodcast.com/bookstore ❀️ Support the show – Help us keep the conversation going:donorbox.org/faithful-politics-podcast πŸ“© Reach out to us: Faithful Host, Josh Burtram: Josh@faithfulpolitics.com Political Host, Will Wright: Will@faithfulpolitics.com πŸ“± Follow & connect with us: Twitter/X: @FaithfulPolitik Instagram: faithful_politics Facebook: FaithfulPoliticsPodcast LinkedIn: faithfulpolitics πŸ“° Subscribe to our Substack for behind-the-scenes content:faithfulpolitics.substack.com πŸ“… RSVP for upcoming live events:Chec...

Have a comment? Send us a text! (We read all of them but can't reply). Email us: Will@faithfulpoliticspodcast.comAt the core of the Faithful Politics Podcast, we want to find areas and subjects that we think are interesting and apply to both faith and politics, and we hope the content we've put out has been enjoyable and entertaining to you. But occasionally, there are topics that are better left as a standalone, and as a result, we will occasionally publish shorter Breakout session pods that dig deeper into specific areas of interest to us. We'll title each one with either Faith Pod or Politics Pod so you can easily discern its value and whether it's important to you. Thanks again for your continued support and I hope you enjoy our first of hopefully many, Faithful Politics Breakout sessions. Sources used:AG Seeks resignation from Prosecutors https://www.nytimes.com/1993/03/24/us/attorney-general-seeks-resignations-from-prosecutors.htmlActing New York US Attorney once defeated Roy Cohn https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/acting-new-york-us-attorney-once-defeated-roy-cohn-investigated-iran-contra/2020/06/20/82378274-b332-11ea-8758-bfd1d045525a_story.htmlDonation record https://www.opensecrets.org/donor-lookup/results?name=Geoffrey+Berman&page=2Judged confirmed: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/04/25/nyregion/geoffrey-berman-us-attorney-manhattan.htmlCNN, Barr spearheaded: https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/15/politics/william-barr-roger-stone-prosecutors-outrage/index.html Support the show🎧 Want to learn more about Faithful Politics, get in touch with the hosts, or suggest a future guest?πŸ‘‰ Visit our website: faithfulpoliticspodcast.com πŸ“š Check out our Bookstore – Featuring titles from our amazing guests:faithfulpoliticspodcast.com/bookstore ❀️ Support the show – Help us keep the conversation going:donorbox.org/faithful-politics-podcast πŸ“© Reach out to us: Faithful Host, Josh Burtram: Josh@faithfulpolitics.com Political Host, Will Wright: Will@faithfulpolitics.com πŸ“± Follow & connect with us: Twitter/X: @FaithfulPolitik Instagram: faithful_politics Facebook: FaithfulPoliticsPodcast LinkedIn: faithfulpolitics πŸ“° Subscribe to our Substack for behind-the-scenes content:faithfulpolitics.substack.com πŸ“… RSVP for upcoming live events:Chec...
