Anthony also describes his favourite OS to work with, gives some tips about making your network a secure environment on and how to avoid email phishing. Ronan was at AlterConf, a traveling conference series that provides safe opportunities for marginalised people and those who support them in the tech and gaming industries, and one of the speakers February Keeney, spoke to Ronan about her background and her work as the engineering manager for the Community & Safety team at GitHub, one of the top open source platforms. GitHub decided to put money and people behind actually making Github a platform that is safe and inclusive and February talks about some of the work her team does to make this happen and how they deal with online abuse.

Jenny also spoke about diversity in the tech community and burnout amongst developers which is something that you rarely hear mentioned.
