Dr David Dunn is committed to providing you with the highest standard of treatment and believes passionately in continuing education and excellence throughout all aspects of his dentistry.   After graduating in 1981 from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours, he has practiced the latest techniques in dentistry over the past 30 years, and frequently lectures both in Australia and overseas.   Dr Dunn was instrumental in the establishment of both the Osseointegration Society of New South Wales, being chairman of the inaugural committee, and later The Australasian Osseointegration Society. Rachel Hall graduated form Leeds University in 1992 and worked as a NHS dentist in the UK for 8 years where she honed her skills to be very time efficient and productive. Suffering from boredom, burnout and the cold weather Rachel moved to Australia in 2000 and in 2005 opened her own holistic dental office called Evolve Dental Healing. Rachel provides safe amalgam removal, mercury free dentistry and has a special interest in dental sleep medicine – TMJ and sleep apnoea. Rachel is also a practitioner of Universal Medicine Therapies and likes to mediate and take care of her health and wellbeing. During her time in business Rachel has developed her skills as a dentist and a businesswoman and invested in coaches to support her growth and success. Carl is a true ‘serial entrepreneur’, he started making money serving in his parents shop at the age of 8, he bought his first house at the age of 17. He was fundamental in the success of the very first combined Legal and Real Estate business in the UK, taking a 60% market share of all property listings in his home city of York. In 1993 he emigrated to Australia and stated the telecommunications retail chain, Communique, building this to 26 locations and an annual revenue of over $12m within five years. And in 2000 he bought a Sydney based marketing company, which formed the foundation of his current company Integrated Dental Marketing.   In 2001 Dr Derek Mahoney asked Carl to speak at an Orthodontic Conference in Sydney, which was his first introduction to the profession of dentistry. Since this time Carl has built the first and largest advertising agency in Australia dedicated to the Dental profession (IDM), he started the first dedicated dental patient finance plan (SmileCard), he was the co-founder of the dental group Dental Partners (now known as Maven) and has created hundreds of new dental brands across the country for his Clients.   More recently Carl started the Marketing Dentistry Institute, bringing speakers to Australia such as Dr Bill Dorfman,  Dr Mark Costes, Dr Michael Abernathy and the incomparable Dr Howard Farran.   Carl also owns two dental practices himself were ‘he practices what he preaches’ growing the first practice he bought by over 220% in the first 15 months of ownership.   He is married to his beautiful wife Angelica and together they have their 10 year old daughter Grace. Dr David Penn graduated from Sydney University dental school and commenced  practice in Sydney's eastern suburbs. He trained extensively in the United States under two of the world's leading aesthetic dentists and in 1983 he established Southern Cross Dental Laboratories, which has grown to become regarded as one of the leading state of the art dental laboratories in the world.   Dr Penn also lectures and teaches extensively, principally in the areas of aesthetic orthodontics and facial aesthetics. Marco Gadola has a strong executive track record in a broad range of global businesses. He rejoined Straumann in 2013 as CEO, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President Operations from 2006 to 2008, when he left to pursue a career development opportunity at Panalpina, a world leader in supply chain management. Having started as Panalpina’s Chief Financial Officer, he became Regional CEO Asia / Pacic in 2012, with overall responsibility for the regional business.   Prior to his first term at Straumann, he spent five years at Hero, the Swiss-based international food group, where he was also CFO and responsible for IT and operations. Dr. Dragan Antolos graduated as a dentist in 1982, and has a dental practice in Melbourne, Australia.   His practice addresses all aspects of dental health. However he has a special interest in orthodontics (especially the effect of thumb sucking on permanent teeth and dental development). Married in 1988, he has two daughters (one of whom was a thumb sucker!).   His frustration at the lack of children's literature addressing this common childhood habit lead him to write and illustrate the story of Oliver, The Little Bear who Sucked his Thumb.
