Dr Seth Gerlach

By removing harmful substances, habits and even thoughts, the body can begin to heal and quickly flourish. Today's guest is Dr Seth Gerlach, and he believes functional healing may be the answer to many common health issues which are otherwise difficult to be solved using conventional medicine. Seth attended the University of Missouri and received a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College of Chiropractic and has since received a Diploma of Internal Diagnosis from the American Board of Chiropractic. He has also completed multiple training courses in functional medicine to become an expert in the field. In this episode we hear about how he first awakened to this method of healing, touching on past experiences with spiritual teachers and his own moments of realisation. We delve deeply into the history of healing and contrast it to today's conventional style of medicine. Touching on false truths of the medical world, we explore how we reached biases in the media, society and the pharmaceutical industry. You'll also hear about Seth's method of exposing facts and sharing research from accredited journals. By using memes, humour and the like, he is able to transmit vital information with great efficacy, covering topics like vaccines, masks and COVID-19 data. On lighter notes, we take a look at some of the simple ways you can lead a healthier life by improving your diet, immersing yourself in nature and much more. Jeff Krasno

Wanderlust festivals capture the very best elements of community, resting on foundations of health and wellbeing. This pioneering festival gathers teachers, experts, musicians and creators at stunning resorts for transformational experiences, with 65 events held across 25 countries. In this deeply explorative episode, we speak to its creator Jeff Krasno, and dive into his inspirations to create such an immersive and influential festival. We also go far beyond Wanderlust, talking about formulae for success and how you can grapple an idea and turn it into something valuable to humanity and nature. You'll also hear about Jeff's new focus in life. Today, he tries to foster forums for public discourse, bringing people together with opposing ideas, and allowing them to have thoughtful conversations without dehumanizing one another. Jeff uses these constructive arguments as a tool for his own personal development as well, using a technique known as steelmanning. As we get deeper, we also collect our thoughts on the current state of the world. Jeff touches on how the institutions we trust by definition are in fact failing us as citizens, yet the inherent adversity that comes with it should be seen as opportunity to create a new, brighter world for us all. Media bias, the agenda of big pharma, and convoluted 3,000-page government documents detailing policy are just some of the aspects of contemporary life we talk about. However, no part of our conversation is complete without providing hopeful solutions and ideas for our collective, global problem. If you connect with any of this, make sure you join us in this episode with Jeff Krasno. There is no denying we face a reality where our world is under threat from climate crisis and planetary disease. The answer to this problem could be in the soil. Today's guest is Rob Herring, and he believes our fate lies in the hands of Earth and it's up to us how we treat our little blue planet. Rob wears many hats and is notable for his achievements in musical activism and environmental filmmaking. In this episode, we talk in depth about his latest picture, The Need To GROW, and the inspiration behind it. He tells us how contemporary activism is fuelled by anger, blame and finger-pointing, while his film sways from this and aims to change the status quo by not only educating, but by providing solutions too. Throughout this rich and hopeful conversation, we learn about the importance of soil health and how it has a direct impact on the way we live. Dave Rubin

Dave Rubin's journey from a left leaning progressive to a free thinking classical liberal has been quite an adventure. As a gay married man living in America, Dave spent the majority of his adult life subscribing to a certain political belief system based primarily on his immutable characteristics. Fed up with the mainstream media narrative and click-bait news, Dave decided to open up about his awakening, for all to see. He came to realize that no person or idea should be expected to join a side, but rather they should embrace their status as an individual. He now feels that the modern left has lost its way by taking political correctness and groupthink to a dangerous level, distracting from the true American dream of the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. Dr Dale Bredesen on Alzheimer's

Joining us today is Dr Dale Bredesen, an internationally-recognized expert in the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases, and he believes Alzheimer's is not just preventable, but reversible. In this episode, Dale explains the true complexity of the disease, and why it needs to be researched and treated in ways that are just as complex - a notion he feels contemporary medicine is only just waking up to. You'll hear about his New York Times bestselling book, The End of Alzheimer's, and where his research has taken him in the time since. Perhaps one of the remarkable things he's learned is the relationship we have with Alzheimer's and how lifestyle choices, geographical location and genetics are all influential and sometimes decisive factors. Just as importantly, his research points to how we may have larger control over most of these conditions than previously thought. We also take a retrospective look at his education and uncover the archaic ways the medical fraternity used to look at Alzheimer's. Yet, we're also sure to take a moment to celebrate the wonderful and hopeful direction that this disease is headed, thanks to new research opportunities like multivariable trials. Throughout this enriching and stimulating conversation, Dale uses cleverly simple metaphors to make ideas and evidence more clean-cut and digestible. For more on the disease, it's parallels to C_OVID 19, and what the future holds, be sure to join us!  We hope you've enjoyed the first half of this podcast - if you'd like to listen to the rest, please visit the Evolve Network. The Evolve Network is now live at evolvenetwork.tv  Subscribe for meal plans, recipes, cooking shows and our very own 'The Magic Pill' and 'The Magic Plant', as well as access to my favourite documentaries. Ian Morris

Research suggests that sound is a powerful tool to reduce pain, anxiety, and more. Today's guest, Ian Morris, believes this wholeheartedly, and believes that different frequencies can have a myriad of positive effects on listeners. Ian is the Founder of Listening to Smile, healing frequency minded music for personal growth and well-being. Ian has over 21 years' experience in the performing arts field and has made it his life's goal to use his gifts and passion to be of service to people in search of healing. As a multi-instrumentalist, he instinctively sought solace in music. It was during this time of very poor health that he came across information about the sacred healing potential of sound and vibration and began to study further. What he can then best describe as a combination of divine inspiration, timing, and skill set all merged. He began creating and producing compositions of tones and frequencies, which led him to personally reclaim his health. In addition to his personal, physical healing, he was seeing a drastic healing of his dyslexia. Within two weeks, he was finding more clarity, focus, and his ability to retain information became easier. Within a year, his physical health condition and his dyslexia were completely transformed. In this episode, Ian shares with us a bit about his practice, how breathwork, meditation, and sound healing helped him transform his life, and how he can help others do the same. Elizabeth Tripp

Somewhere along the way, humanity lost touch with its spirit, and people started living their lives according to the ideas of others instead of their own. Today's guest is Elizabeth Tripp, a lifestyle design coach and spiritual teacher, and her mission is to guide you to break through old patterns and learn your soul's lessons so you can believe in yourself, live in the truth of who you are, and design a lifestyle you're in love with. Elizabeth believes there is a large gap between our health and wellbeing, and what we really desire. To her, the power now lies with so-called experts who decide how you should look, feel, and even eat. Now is the time to take back that power, and be in control of your own life says Elizabeth. In this episode, we dive into the importance of making your own lifestyle choices and what those choices could look like. We touch on how as a species, we lost our intuition and confidence to trust ourselves, and look into the ways we can change this mindset. By looking at ourselves as souls, we can begin to understand our purpose on Earth and live in its experience. Discover how you have the ability to shed the opinions of others, as well as your own negative beliefs about yourself. As our conversation develops, you'll also hear about how the COVID-19 pandemic can be looked at as a virus of the mind and an opportunity to learn and grow. Jesse Elder

When you are aligned with your purpose and connected to your intuition, everything changes. Things you thought were previously impossible open up to you and life becomes an adventure. This is one of the key messages of today's guest, self- mastery teacher Jesse Elder. A conversation filled with insights, we discuss the meaning of education and what you can do to bring forth your child's unique genius. Following this, we explore the different types of freedoms that we enjoy, and why Jesse respects people's rights to choose what happens to their bodies. While talking about divisive figures like Bill Gates, Jesse shares how he distances himself from contentious issues. Another significant theme, we chat about how your personal development never stops. We then ask Jesse about how the pandemic has affected his personal growth. His answer highlights the importance of living a joyous life and that opportunities are always available, no matter your circumstance. After expressing gratitude for the lessons learned from difficult situations, we touch on why there's no one-size-fits-all philosophy that can be applied to all people, the differences between rational and irrational fear, and the value of seeking out 'leading-edge' experiences. Near the end of the episode, Jesse provides his take on why politicians tend not to have self- mastery before highlighting why now is a good time to be thinking for yourself.
