House Probe Of Afghanistan Exit Details “Catastrophic Failures”

The House Foreign Affairs Committee has released an extensive report on the failures of the Afghanistan withdrawal. In the report, the investigation found that proper plans were not taken to secure the Kabul airport before the bombing at Abbey Gate that left 13 American service members dead, with dozens of others injured. Now the Committee is seeking testimony from Secretary of State Antony Blinken to get answers about the report. Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX-10) joins the Rundown to discuss the contents of the report, who he believes needs to be held accountable for the failures in Afghanistan, and how Vice President Harris is now trying to distance herself from the Biden administration’s policies. Live Nation-Ticketmaster has been under scrutiny for years following several ticketing snafus, including the Taylor Swift Eras Tour debacle two summers ago. However, the entertainment company's problems are more significant than just unhappy customers. The Department of Justice is suing Ticketmaster and Live Nation over monopolistic practices. And now, the United Kingdom is also considering legal action after frustrated fans cried foul while trying to snag tickets to the upcoming Oasis reunion tour. Mark Meador, President of the Fan Fairness Coalition and partner at Kressin Meador LLC, joins to discuss Ticketmaster's overhauling market control, why tickets are no longer affordable, and what Congress can do to break up what he calls a monopoly. Plus, commentary from FOX News Contributor Charlie Hurt.(Image Via AP) Learn more about your ad choices. Extra: Inside The Pentagon's Probe Into UFOs

Luis Elizondo ran the Pentagon's Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program. Before that, he was a U.S. Army Counterintelligence Special Agent. Elizondo resigned from the Department of Defense in 2017 and has since made headlines with claims about the government investigations into 'UFOs,' or what they call UAPs, unidentified anomalous phenomena. In his new book called, “Imminent: Inside The Pentagon's Hunt For UFOs,” he says the government has investigated multiple crash sites and has even recovered evidence of nonhuman life. Luis Elizondo recently joined host Chris Foster on the Fox News Rundown to discuss his career, some of his book’s most shocking claims, and why he thinks whatever some of these UAPs are, they threaten America’s national security. We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview. This week on the FOX News Rundown Extra, we will share our entire interview with Luis Elizondo and hear even more about what he says the Pentagon knows about UAPs and what may be behind these phenomena.  Learn more about your ad choices. From Washington: How Pivotal Is the ABC Presidential Debate?

Though Vice President Kamala Harris has been able to rally the Democratic base after replacing President Biden as the Party's presidential nominee, she's yet to go head-to-head with her opponent, former President Donald Trump. That will change on September 10th, when the two presidential candidates take the ABC presidential debate stage and potentially shake up the race again. Former debate moderator and Anchor of 'The Story,' Martha MacCallum, discusses how the dynamic between former President Trump and Vice President Harris may play out and the importance of prioritizing policy and performance on the debate stage. As Congress returns to session this week, the battle to fund the government heats up. But tight races for the White House, Senate, and House could force Republicans to punt the issue down the road, potentially triggering a government shutdown. FOX News Senior Congressional Correspondent Chad Pergram addresses how this might play out for Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA). Plus, Chad notes why in a razor-thin election, foreign policy could play a deciding factor. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

From Washington: Is A Ceasefire Deal On The Table Anymore?

Last week, six Israeli hostages were found murdered in the underground tunnels in Gaza causing major protests across Israel. Although President Biden said this week that he was close to presenting a final ceasefire deal, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu countered the claim, stating that no such deal was in the works. Retired 4 Star General, Chairman of the Institute for the Study of War, and FOX News Senior Strategic Analyst General Jack Keane analyzes the current standing of the war in Gaza and explains why the ongoing negotiations have yet to produce a solution.Early voting begins this month even though the country is still more than a month away from Election Day. More states will start sending out absentee ballots and kick off early voting as the weeks go on, but the rules and restrictions differ from state to state. Early voting was already supposed to begin in North Carolina but is now delayed due to a legal fight with Robert F Kennedy Jr., who is asking the state to remove his name from the ballot. Director of Elections and Redistricting at the National Conference of State Legislatures Wendy Underhill discusses the difference between early voting and absentee ballots, why timing is important, and the potential number of votes that could be cast before November.
