Extra: Democrats Under Fire Over Russia Collusion Questions

The 2016 presidential election and what happened after are under scrutiny again, as the Department of Justice opens a grand jury investigation into the Obama-era probe of Russian interference. Back in July, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified intelligence about the investigation into the Trump campaign, arguing that it would expose manipulation and possible treason by Democrats and Obama White House Officials. Sunday Night in America host and former South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy joined FOX News Rundown host Dave Anthony this week to discuss the investigation and look back at the events during and after the 2016 election that are still in question. Gowdy explained why he never believed the Trump campaign colluded with the Russians, and why he thinks officials in the intelligence community, including former CIA Director John Brennan, lied under oath and to the American people about the “Russiagate” conspiracy. The Trey Gowdy Podcast host went as far as to say it was the Democrats and the Clinton Campaign who colluded with the Russians, and they intentionally tried to undermine President Trump’s first term. We often must cut interviews short during the week, but we thought you might like to hear the full interview. Today on Fox News Rundown Extra, we will share our entire interview with Trey Gowdy and get even more of his thoughts on what he thinks really happened during the 2016 election. From Washington: Texas’ Big ‘Gerrymandering’ Battle Goes National

The Texas House failed once again on Friday to reach a quorum as some Democrats continue to hide out of state and block the Republicans’ bill that would redraw congressional districts and give the GOP an even bigger advantage. That final map could have a big impact on the U.S. House, given the Republicans' slim majority. The redistricting battle in Texas has sparked a national debate over gerrymandering, and several Democrat-led states say they would redraw congressional maps, too. Meanwhile, other GOP governors say they'd respond too. FOX 7 Austin Reporter Rudy Koski joins the podcast to discuss what sparked the redistricting fight in the state, the tradition of Texas lawmakers crossing state lines during legislative battle, and the national implications a gerrymandering tit-for-tat could have on the 2026 midterm elections.Later, Senator & Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee Tim Scott (R-SC) discusses his strategy for next year’s midterm election and his upcoming book, One Nation Always Under God: Profiles in Christian Courage. Evening Edition: California Congressman Wants To Stop Nationwide Redistricting War

What began in Texas with Democrat state lawmakers fleeing Austin to cities like Chicago and Boston to avoid a vote to change their redistricting map has turned into a country-wide redistricting war. A California Congressman says he has the answer on redistricting and has proposed a bill to end the argument. Trey Gowdy On "Russiagate" And Why The Truth Matters

The 2016 presidential election and what happened after are under scrutiny again, as the Department of Justice opens a grand jury investigation into the Obama-era probe of Russian interference. Back in July, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard declassified intelligence about the investigation into the Trump campaign, arguing that it would expose manipulation and possible treason. Sunday Night in America host Trey Gowdy joins to discuss the investigation and why "there's no expiration date on the truth." The Trump administration's recent escalation of reciprocal and universal tariffs on multiple countries threatens to increase costs for many of America's small businesses. Bobby Griggs, vice president of sales at Heritage Steel, says his company is doing the impossible: maintaining reasonable prices while increasing sales. Bobby joins the Rundown to discuss the potential advantages for manufacturers to "produce in America" and how tariffs have forced overseas companies to turn to US facilities to meet the moment. Evening Edition: Arrest Warrants Issued For Texas Democrats Who Fled The State

Texas Democrats who skipped town to stop redistricting efforts are now facing arrest after House Speaker Dustin Burrows signed off on civil arrest warrants, citing a “dereliction of duty”. Many of the Democrats that fled the state went to Chicago where Illinois Governor JB Pritzker rolled out the red carpet for them. Now, other Democrat Governors, Gov. Gavin Newsom in California and Gov. Kathy Hochul of New York are now vowing to conduct their own redistricting votes to combat the possible gains by Republicans in Congress. FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Texas State Senator Mayes Middleton (R) who says his Democrat colleagues have let the State of Texas down, by not just avoiding the redistricting vote but by shutting down all legislative business, and they should face the consequences.
