Christmas Greetings: The Missing Peace of Christmas
Christmas is meant to be a season of peace, yet many find themselves dealing with broken relationships and family conflicts. The solution isn't winning arguments but having the mind of Christ. Philippians 2:5-11 shows us Jesus's example of radical humility: He gave up His divine privileges, took on the form of a servant, moved toward humanity despite our sin, and sacrificed everything for reconciliation. To restore broken relationships, we must follow His example by setting aside our need to be right, approaching conflicts as servants rather than demanding our rights, moving toward those who hurt us, and being willing to sacrifice for peace. Jesus is the missing piece for those missing peace this Christmas.

Christmas Greetings: The Anticipation of Christmas
Christmas represents God's perfect timing in Jesus’ arrival to redeem humanity. The phrase "fullness of time" in Galatians 4:4-7 reveals that Jesus came at exactly the right moment spiritually, culturally, politically, and sovereignly. Born of woman and under the law, Jesus lived the perfect life we couldn't live and died the death we deserved. His purpose was twofold: to redeem us from slavery to sin and to adopt us as God's children with full inheritance rights. Just as His first coming was perfectly timed, His second coming will be as well, calling us to live in anticipation and readiness.Visit https://www.centralchurch.com to get involved with Central Church.

Lessons to Mature Faith

Time to Make a Move
Abraham's story in Genesis 12 teaches us that the path to progress comes through believing God's promises and taking action. Many of us struggle to trust God with our finances, relationships, and future because we fear He won't catch us when we leap. True faith isn't just mental agreement that God exists - it's believing God and making a move. God's call comes through grace, includes adventure, and brings disruption that redirects us toward His better plan. Like Abraham, we must learn to worship wherever we go and avoid the detour of trusting in our own manipulation during difficult times. Even when we fail, God remains faithful to His promises, ultimately pointing us to Jesus who perfectly fulfilled what Abraham could not.Visit https://www.centralchurch.com to get involved with Central Church.

Ministers that Multiply
Effective ministry isn't about credentials or qualifications—it's about shepherding people like family. Paul's example in 1 Thessalonians 2:9-12 shows us that ministers who multiply spiritually must embody three family roles: a tender mother who gives sacrificially and loves deeply, a tireless brother who works consistently without complaint, and a tough father who lives transparently while providing both encouragement and loving correction. This isn't just for professional pastors—every believer is called to minister to others with this kind of heart. When we approach relationships and ministry with genuine family love rather than professional distance, we create the conditions for true spiritual multiplication.Visit https://www.centralchurch.com to get involved with Central Church.

Power Tools for Multiplication
The Tower of Babel story reveals humanity's tendency to misuse God's gifts for selfish purposes. The people possessed four powerful tools for multiplication: language, innovation, unity, and the ability to receive correction. Instead of using these tools to fulfill God's command to fill the earth, they gathered together to make a name for themselves. God's intervention wasn't punishment but mercy, preventing them from using their power for ultimate destruction. At Pentecost, God began reversing Babel's confusion, showing His plan to unite all nations under Christ's lordship. We face the same choice today: will we use our God-given tools for His glory or our own?

Be Fruitful & Multiply: Multiply After Disaster Pt. 3
Noah's story doesn't end with the rainbow. After the flood, this righteous man experienced a devastating fall that teaches us important lessons about human nature and grace. Noah's gradual descent into sin reminds us that anyone can fall, and that failure often happens in private long before it becomes public. His story shows how sin spreads quickly through families and communities, affecting the most vulnerable first. However, we can learn from the contrasting responses of Noah's sons - while Ham exposed his father's shame, Shem and Japheth chose to cover it with love. This points us to the Gospel, where Christ covers our shame with His righteousness, and calls us to extend that same covering grace to others.Visit https://www.centralchurch.com to get involved with Central Church.

Be Fruitful & Multiply: Multiply After Disaster Pt. 2
When disaster strikes, we often struggle with trust in ourselves, others, and God. Genesis 9 shows us how God meets Noah's family after the flood with a powerful covenant (or promise) that offers comfort and security. This covenant has four key aspects: its broad scope includes all creation, its security is permanent across generations, its singularity means it depends solely on God's faithfulness, and its seal (the rainbow) serves as a reminder of God's commitment. Through Jesus Christ, we experience an even greater covenant that offers security when our world falls apart, reminding us to find our comfort in God's faithfulness rather than our circumstances.Visit https://www.centralchurch.com to get involved with Central Church.
