Jonathan Veira: How the Bass Baritone found his voice

He's also well known in the Christian community for his Christian and gospel albums. But fame comes and goes, and he says it's something he's learned to hold onto lightly.

Bryn Haworth: The guitar virtuoso on his conversion to Christianity
The legendary guitarist and Christian singer-songwriter Bryn Haworth has released over 20 albums and toured the length and breadth of the UK over the course of his four-decade-long career. It could be argued X Factor launched his career, but Jahmene doesn't share that perspective. In this in-depth interview with Premier Christianity's Sam Hailes, the singer explains why he wouldn't recommend the show to upcoming singers. He also opens up about the horrific abuse he received as a child, and how God revealed himself in the midst of his pain. He also talks about his determination to stay true to himself - and his faith - even when faced with outside pressures, including that of past record labels he was associated with. Having released his first Gospel EP independently, which includes hit song 'Father to the Fatherless', Jahmene is feeling confident in who he is. But citing what he calls the "politricks" inside churches, he believes God is calling him "outside of the church".

It landed him homeless for three years, living in his car, travelling the length and breadth of the USA searching for gigs. Eventually his big break came. But success is a double-edged sword, and it would take him down a path away from the values of his childhood. It was many years before he rediscovered that the God he'd turned his back on was waiting with open arms.

Leroy Logan: My life as a black police officer in London
Leroy Logan is a Christian, a black man and a police officer. And he sees no contradiction between any of these aspects of his identity. The former superintendent played a significant role in the Metropolitan police, which he served in for 30 years. He is a former chair of the Black Police Association and was involved in the investigation of the murder of Damilola Taylor. In this interview with Premier Christianity's Sam Hailes, Leroy explains how despite his father being attacked by the police, he was resolute in following his calling. He also reveals how his wife leaving him kickstarted his journey to faith and an experience of being 'born again'. Ari Sorko-Ram: The Messianic Jewish leader who believes all Israel will be saved
Ari Sorko-Ram has had a varied life and career which has included working as a professional Rugby player in France, an actor in Hollywood and a church leader in Israel.
