3 Simple Ways to Refocus on the Goal or Priority You've Let Go Of
I talk a lot about aligning our days to our priorities and crafting our days around what matters. I believe this is key in living intentional, purposeful, happy days. But what happens when one of our priorities starts to fall to the back burner? This will inevitably happen as we're not perfect (and we shouldn't strive to be!). When it does happen, I believe it's important to reflect and re evaluate why this is happening and how we can move this thing that we claim is important to us back into focus. Again, it doesn't have to be perfect, but we do want to work towards purpose. As I reflected on this myself, I realized there were three different reasons this was happening for me. Today I'm sharing these reasons and ways we can combat them and move whatever has fallen out of focus back to it's rightful place in our life. ---- Links: Make Room - My Online Course to Help You Declutter Your Home and Move Towards Realistic Minimalism in Every Area of Your Life (Use code 20OFF for a limited discount.) Bonus: What to do When You Feel Like You're Always Cleaning Up After Everyone, but Your House is Never Clean
This was one of the main concerns on a survey I put out a few weeks back: So many moms felt like they were always cleaning up after everyone, but their house was never clean. Today I talk about that issue, a few steps to get through it, and a note on having time for the things you care about + the "martyrdom motherhood" narrative. Check out episode 25 for some notes on cleaning and our mindset around cleaning. Want to apply realistic minimalism to every area of your life?
