Why the Mercedes-Ferrari battle for P2 matters + Should F1 ditch Monaco?
Ben Anderson and Glenn Freeman join Edd Straw to look ahead to the final race of the 2023 F1 season in Abu Dhabi. There's a particular focus on the scores still left to be settled this year, including whether Mercedes or Ferrari will win the battle for P2 in the constructors' championship, and whether McLaren or Aston Martin will triumph in the close battle for fourth. The guys also look ahead to which rookies will be getting a run-out in the post-season test, and debate the controversial matter of whether Monaco still deserves a slot on the F1 calendar - especially with Las Vegas now offering a prestige glamour event that also provides great racing...Follow The Race on Twitter to take part in The Race F1 Cup!Check out our latest videos on YouTubeDownload our app on iOS or AndroidClick here to join The Race Members' Club and have the opportunity to ask a question on the show Hosted on Acast. Track limits: We debate how to fix F1's most contentious issue
Track limits - it's become a phrase we hear nearly every Grand Prix weekend, with drivers, journalists, commentators and fans all having their say on drivers straying beyond the limits of the circuit and how to punish them if they do. We've seen lap times deleted in qualifying, drivers being penalised for gaining an advantage in races and, more recently, a post-race protest in the US from Haas, aimed at recovering points from drivers who repeatedly strayed beyond track limits but weren't punished. Clearly, this is state of affairs that needs to be fixed, so as the end of the season approaches, Edd Straw is joined by Scott Mitchell-Malm, Glenn Freeman and Ben Anderson for a debate on tracks limits, with each of them presenting their vision for how to solve F1's most contentious issue for good.Follow The Race on Twitter to take part in The Race F1 Cup!Check out our latest videos on YouTubeDownload our app on iOS or AndroidVroom is the better way to buy and sell used cars, so head over to Vroom.com NOWClick here to join The Race Members' Club and have the opportunity to ask a question on the show Hosted on Acast.
