It can be a delicate subject: getting feedback from other people. There are so many times when you hear feedback and opinions from people who truly have no business telling you what they think. On the flip side, we need to surround ourselves with ‘truth tellers.’ These are the people in your circle (in your business) who can report to you and help you identify what’s lacking or what needs improvement. It can absolutely be difficult - we get that. That’s why it is so important to stand tall and be courageous enough to hear the truth. It takes courage to hear what we don’t want to hear and take it in stride, identify next steps, and avoid crumbling in the face of adversity. What we’re chatting about in this episode: Intentionally surrounding yourself with people who are where you want to be - and getting okay with not being the smartest person in the room How to take a step back and look at your top priority - and figure out if you need a dose or two of truth about the current state of things Mindset shifts to help you become ready to receive feedback and take it with courage and class Surround yourself with people who will lift you higher and allow you to reach and exceed all of your goals.
