History Is Dank
All Things Comedy
Strider Wilson hosts a podcast delving into history through the perspective of a mature erudite bro. He was one unit away from a history minor at U.C. San Diego, but he does’t let that stop him from examining what it would have been like to be a bro posted up on Bunker Hill or uncovering what the chillest aspect of surrealist art is. Buckle up because Strider will not only venture into humanity's shared past. He will venture within himself. Asking real questions such as, “exactly how tight are pirates,” or “what if he stayed that extra semester in school,” “would my life have been danker?” Strider firmly believes that history is tight because we all should for sure blaze our own trails… but in what direction?

Today however, he will look at this legit movie through a strictly historical lens. It's ripe time to learn something new about an old love. Primary Research Performed by J.D. Erik The Red
When you hear the word, Viking, you can't help but think of jacked dudes with beards posting up on boats. And that's tight. After chilling in that headspace for a bit, you might then think... didn't Vikings beat Christopher Columbus to the New World? They for sure did, but not until this dude Erik The Red made a colorful discovery of his own. Sources: Wikipedia.org, ‘The Intellectual Devotional’ by David S. Kidder & Noah D. Ishi: The Greatest Californian! With Guest Harmony McElligott
Perhaps the greatest way to describe, "the greatest Californian," is with his doctor's words, "... He closes a chapter of history. He looked upon us as sophisticated children—smart, but not wise.… His soul was that of a child, his mind that of a philosopher.” Ishi's story is a tale of the past meeting the present; a paragon of how we must first look back before we can move forward. Futurism
A huge part of getting stoked is getting fired up for the future. Just think about pre-gaming. Celebrating that grand anticipation of, "radical possibilities," for one's self and more importantly for all of us. As a fan of history Strider doesn't entirely agree with the modern art movement's condemnation of the past, but there is no question some legit works came out of Italy and Russia in the early 20th Century. It's A Dank Off! Types Of Gladiators
When Strider hears the word Gladiator he immediately thinks of his high school volleyball highlight tape. Then, like everyone else he envisions Russell Crowe challenging the foundation of Rome from the sand of the Colosseum. What a dank movie! Russell gave it to all sorts of unfortunate dudes. Did those guys pick their gear and fighting style or was there gladiatorial positions like in modern day sports? Strider reviews and compares 8 main types of gladiators and declares which is the dankest.
