The Most Important Tool for Organizing Your Attitude, with Bethany Barendregt
Learn how to handle perfectionism with my free workshop: NoMorePerfectionism.comThe best antidote to perfectionism is to pray. Being in prayer is fruitful and most necessary to our spiritual walk and fighting sin in our lives. We should be thanking God for everything we have been given, and asking him to make us aware of our sinful desires. So ask God for grace, ask to be reminded of his perfection, ask for an increased awareness of his holiness and ask that God’s goodness and faithfulness would be manifest in your home even when things are not perfect. God delights to answer these prayers. Bethany Barendregt is wife to Alex and mama to their five kids ages 6-14. She works from home as founder/creative director for Women Encouraged and hosts their podcast, and occasionally helps as a substitute teacher at her kids’ Classical Christian school. She currently serves at her local church in women’s ministry, planning and leading Bible studies and keeping women connected in God’s word through various means. Bethany is passionate about Bible literacy and enjoys writing and speaking to share hope for everyday life, but she would love nothing more than to sit down for a cup of coffee with you and talk about how the gospel changes everything.Find Bethany online:http://bethanybarendregt.com/https://www.instagram.com/bethanyjbarendregt/https://www.women-encouraged.com/https://www.instagram.com/womenencouraged/Women are the backbone of society, so we must be free from cultural lies & personal guilt and have the freedom of good habits and self-control so we can build God-honoring families and communities.📖 Get my latest book: How to Use a Planner Without Wasting Timehttps://amzn.to/3CcRzuy➡️ Take the free daily card challenge and practice with me! https://www.simplyconvivial.info/todo-list/🏆 Enroll in Simply Convivial Continuing Education and get practical life management mentorship so you don't have to be overwhelmed anymore: https://www.simplyconvivial.com/stop-overwhelm

What is a home routine? Why are they so hard?
Free Cleaning Routine Guide: https://www.simplyconvivial.com/cleanhouseSometimes our housekeeping routines are hard to manage because we don't even know what kind of a project it is.How many times have you sat at the table with your calendar and a notebook, listing out what needs to be done, looking at the lay of your week, and determining what should happen when? You create a plan to get all the housework done on a consistent basis so nothing ever gets out of hand. The first week, you work your plan. It seems to work – mostly – except that it takes more time than you thought. That’s ok. You know that if you stick with it for a few more weeks, not only will it not take you as long, but you’ll also gain the upper hand in your home and eventually things will be mostly clean, most of the time. There’s only one problem. You don’t stick with it for a few more weeks. Here's why it's so hard to make and keep a set of routines consistently.Women are the backbone of society, so we must be free from cultural lies & personal guilt and have the freedom of good habits and self-control so we can build God-honoring families and communities.📖 Get my latest book: How to Use a Planner Without Wasting Timehttps://amzn.to/3CcRzuy➡️ Take the free daily card challenge and practice with me! https://www.simplyconvivial.info/todo-list/🏆 Enroll in Simply Convivial Continuing Education and get practical life management mentorship so you don't have to be overwhelmed anymore: https://www.simplyconvivial.com/stop-overwhelm

When Life Feels Upside Down, with Bethany Barendregt
Learn how to handle perfectionism with my free workshop: NoMorePerfectionism.comSometimes our desire to do well at our vocations turns into a desire for perfectionism which leaves us discouraged and defeated. Bethany gives us the truth straight: perfectionism is idolatry we must repent of and replace with worship of our Creator. You're not going to do yourself any favors if you cling to idols. Perfectionism leads us into pride and a critical spirit and all manner of other sins. It is not the same thing as a high standard or a love of excellence - both of which must remain submitted to God's Word.Bethany Barendregt is wife to Alex and mama to their five kids ages 6-14. The mind-blowing secret for sticking with your goals
Have a goal to keep a cleaner house? Set up a cleaning routine that fits your life, not someone else's. Get the free guide here: https://www.simplyconvivial.com/cleanhouseIt is not unusual to make progress for 2-3 weeks in January on those big goals and then peter out. By the end of February, it might have been weeks since you thought about those goals. No worries – after all, there’s still most of the year ahead, right? You can pick those goals back up when X is over. That kind of thinking is what got you to this place where you haven’t thought about your goals at all for 2-3 weeks. How are we going to stay consistent with our goals with an on-again, off-again pattern? That’s not consistency and it’s not motivating. To stay consistent with goals we don’t need more motivation and we don’t need more grit. Instead, sticking with your goals comes from attention and awareness.Women are the backbone of society, so we must be free from cultural lies & personal guilt and have the freedom of good habits and self-control so we can build God-honoring families and communities.📖 Get my latest book: How to Use a Planner Without Wasting Timehttps://amzn.to/3CcRzuy➡️ Take the free daily card challenge and practice with me! https://www.simplyconvivial.info/todo-list/🏆 Enroll in Simply Convivial Continuing Education and get practical life management mentorship so you don't have to be overwhelmed anymore: https://www.simplyconvivial.com/stop-overwhelm

The first thing to declutter is your attitude
🏆 Get practical life management mentorship so you don't have to be overwhelmed anymore: https://www.simplyconvivial.com/stop-overwhelmDecluttering the stuff is really the least important kind of decluttering we can do. With more time at home around our families that will become evident. We might think that our problem is that everyone has too much stuff and if we just solved the stuff problem, then we’d get along, then we’d not be irritable, then life would be good. The first thing we actually need to declutter is our attitude. Yes, I like to say we need to organize our attitude, but decluttering is often the first step in getting organized – with attitudes as well as stuff. And we can take a similar process, as well.Women are the backbone of society, so we must be free from cultural lies & personal guilt and have the freedom of good habits and self-control so we can build God-honoring families and communities.📖 Get my latest book: How to Use a Planner Without Wasting Timehttps://amzn.to/3CcRzuy➡️ Take the free daily card challenge and practice with me! https://www.simplyconvivial.info/todo-list/🏆 Enroll in Simply Convivial Continuing Education and get practical life management mentorship so you don't have to be overwhelmed anymore: https://www.simplyconvivial.com/stop-overwhelm

Ask your husband what he thinks about your homemaking (with Gemma M)
Women are homemakers, but the husband is the head of the home. How do we dance this dance together, creating a family and life together than glorifies God? It begins by being on the same page, which means it begins with conversation. Gemma was nervous to ask her husband what he thought of her homemaking and the state of their house, but when she got over her fear and asked a simple question, she was stunned and encouraged at his response. Women are the backbone of society, so we must be free from cultural lies & personal guilt and have the freedom of good habits and self-control so we can build God-honoring families and communities.📖 Get my latest book: How to Use a Planner Without Wasting Timehttps://amzn.to/3CcRzuy➡️ Take the free daily card challenge and practice with me! https://www.simplyconvivial.info/todo-list/🏆 Enroll in Simply Convivial Continuing Education and get practical life management mentorship so you don't have to be overwhelmed anymore: https://www.simplyconvivial.com/stop-overwhelm

A total life makeover begins with small steps - with Gracie Madgwick
Get a year of homemaking coaching: https://www.simplyconvivial.com/stop-overwhelmGracie is a west coast California girl transplanted to the wheat fields of the Midwest. She loves her God-given callings of daughter of the King of kings, wife to her husband, Stephen, and mother and teacher to their eight children. Some of her greatest joys are time spent home educating her children, a good family read aloud, toddler antics, and a hot cup of British-style black tea! Before Gracie joined Simply Convivial, she felt chronic overwhelm and discouragement in addition to stress from trying to keep up but not having the tools or mindset to properly approach family home life.Gracie needed a sense of control and a set of skills, and she found those through the Simplified Organization courses. She learned that when implementing new practices in any area of life, it's hard to see our own growth. Growth is slow. It's not overnight. It's hard to notice where we've grown. So it's helpful when we can get outside input. Gracie would ask her husband because she knew he has seen her grow through this process.Gracie said: "Simplified Organization is not just self-help. There's a lot of self-help out there where you just kind of grab what you want. But the way you've structured Simply Convivial and the community coaching program is always reminding of of what God wants for us and what He calls us to."Women are the backbone of society, so we must be free from cultural lies & personal guilt and have the freedom of good habits and self-control so we can build God-honoring families and communities.📖 Get my latest book: How to Use a Planner Without Wasting Timehttps://amzn.to/3CcRzuy➡️ Take the free daily card challenge and practice with me! https://www.simplyconvivial.info/todo-list/🏆 Enroll in Simply Convivial Continuing Education and get practical life management mentorship so you don't have to be overwhelmed anymore: https://www.simplyconvivial.com/stop-overwhelm

When your kids are bored on school break
Teaching our children how to manage their time and their expectations is an important part of our role as parents, and the feeling of boredom can be a good opportunity. But it can get tiresome. It can also be frustrating, because when they had school work they complained that they had no time, but then when they have time, they complain that they’re bored.📖 Get my latest book: How to Use a Planner Without Wasting Timehttps://amzn.to/3CcRzuy➡️ Take the free daily card challenge and practice with me! https://www.simplyconvivial.info/todo-list/🏆 Enroll in Simply Convivial Continuing Education and get practical life management mentorship so you don't have to be overwhelmed anymore: https://www.simplyconvivial.com/stop-overwhelm
