278: How To Work With Your Menstrual Cycle To Maximize Your Creativity And Productivity with Dr. Erin Ellis

While we may sometimes forget it, women are just not wired like men––I'm talking hormones and menstruation! These two things can seriously throw us off of our game, but instead of struggling through it, let's understand how it all works so we can use our cycles and hormones to our advantage. Today, Dr. Erin Ellis joins me to help educate us females on how female cycles work and when to know if it is time to rest, or time to get those creative juices flowing! Dr. Erin Ellis is a cancer survivor who learned through her health journey that you shouldn't take your health for granted which inspired her to pursue her dreams and she became a Naturopathic Doctor. She now empowers women to be their best versions because she learned through her journey that life is too short to feel sub-optimal and given the right tools, your body has the innate ability to heal itself. In this episode we talk about: How mentorship scaled her from an underpaid female with a medical degree to a 6-figure self-employed physician How you can use your menstrual cycle for productivity in business and in life! Reasons why you might be feeling sick and tired Common causes for brain fog that might be hindering your motivation Why self-care is important for the entrepreneur Text us the word LAUNCH if you want to be first to know when we release the new Organic Launch Blueprint course! 274: How to keep yourself going when you want to quit

Hey friends, thanks so much for tuning into the podcast and I'm going to keep it real with you today. I mean I always do but today I'm going to keep it really real. I have had moments where I want to quit on my big idea. There I said it. Hopefully this lets you know that if you have had the thought, even if you've fantasized about how much easier life would be if you just threw in the towel and you didn't keep going on your big idea, you are not alone. This is something that I think if you asked any successful entrepreneur they have had moments where they thought about quitting. If you've had these moments the first thing to know is that it is not a sign that you should quit, that you should not keep going. But I also think that what you would find in common between the people who've achieved success in any way you measure success is that they have had those feelings but they kept going anyway. You'll want to keep this episode as a pep talk to yourself when you feel like quitting. In this episode we talk about: We feel like quitting most when we are getting outside of our comfort zone Cultivating belief in yourself Playing out the worst case scenario + the best case scenario Supporting yourself with the right kind of community Click HERE to text the word MENTOR to (602) 536-7829 for weekly business + mindset tips delivered straight to your phone! 273: Break up with burnout: goals, productivity and the myth of the multi-passionate with Tanya Dalton

We are back to wrap up our Break up with Burnout series and I have THE perfect guest joining me today. Tanya Dalton is not only a best selling author, she has a brand new book coming out that we talk about in this episode, she's a speaker and also a productivity expert. But I love the topic of her latest book On Purpose: The Busy Woman's Guide to an Extraordinary Life of Meaning and Success. This book really challenges a lot of the expectations and misconceptions of what a successful life even really looks like. This ties in so well to our burnout series because we talk about why it's a myth to be multi-passionate and how a lot of times that leads to our own burnout. We talk about how goals really should look within the context of our business and it's not the big overarching goals that inevitably lead to success but the small wins. This episode is so full of value to not only break up with burnout but prevent it all together. You'll want to listen all the way to the end because we have a special surprise for you that may include winning a copy of Tanya's new book! Tanya Dalton is a best-selling author, speaker, and nationally recognized productivity expert. Tanya serves as a growth strategist for female leaders. Her highly anticipated second book, On Purpose: The Busy Woman's Guide to an Extraordinary Life of Meaning and Success, will be on sale wherever books are sold on October 12, 2021. She is also a featured expert on several networks including NBC and Fox and is a VIP contributor for Entrepreneur.com. Tanya has been featured in some of the world's leading publications including Forbes, Inc, Fast Company, and Real Simple. She has been awarded the elite Enterprising Women Award and has been named the Female Entrepreneur to Watch for the state of North Carolina. Tanya is also the founder and CEO of inkWELL Press Productivity Co. a multi-million dollar company providing tools that work as a catalyst in helping women do less while achieving maximum success.
