Just before his arrest, Jesus took Peter, James, and John into the Garden of Gethsemane and asked them to stay and keep watch with Him. Then Jesus went a little beyond them, fell on his face, and prayed, “My father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will but as You will.
