Michael Hilliard is a conflict journalist and analyst specialising in Russia, Europe and the former Soviet republics. With over a decade of on-the-ground experience reporting from some of the world's most tumultuous warzones, Michael has won various awards for his analytical work.Michael is also currently the Director of Communications for the Oxus Society for Central Asian Affairs, and a consultant working as an advisor and defence policy writer for the UK, US and Australian governments with a strong focus on Eurasian defence policy. Cole is a former New Zealand Army veteran with nearly 15 years of service in logistics and military intelligence. Cole has seen operational service in many different countries, including Afghanistan, Jordan, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, Tuvalu, UAE, and even Antarctica. Jon Hamilton is a 10 year Army veteran who served as a Green Beret and member of the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. During his time in the military he completed multiple tours to Afghanistan, Iraq and Eastern Europe. He recently transitioned out of the military and has been exploring his creative side as he developed a keen interest in video production.
