Adam joins us this week to discuss his family’s latest sailing onboard the Disney Fantasy, which featured a Star Wars Day at Sea. This was his family’s first sailing since the Covid shut down, so needless to say, they were excited to get back onboard. We have a fun time discussing all the ins and outs of what happens during a Star Wars Day at Sea, from character interactions, dining changes, the night time show, and finishing off with changes we’d love to see them make to these themed day cruises. We also touch on what they did in port, when they stopped at Costa Maya in Mexico. Christy just got off the Disney Dream, where she traveled with a friend and her family. Her friends kids were ages 4 and 21, so she decided to sit down with Christopher, who is 21, to talk to him about what it’s like to travel aboard DCL at that age. I’m joined this week by my partners in crime, Chris from California and Ed from New York, from our recent sailing on the Disney Wonder out of New Orleans. Although we hadn’t planned it ahead of time, we all ended up on this Valentines Day sailing aboard the Wonder. We have a fun time looking back on spending time in New Orleans beforehand, sailing down the Mississippi, eating dinner in Tiana’s Place and Palo, enjoying the onboard entertainment and shows, getting to spend happy hour each night in the Walt Disney Suite (the amazing cabin Chris booked on this sailing), and spending the day in beautiful Cozumel. It’s time to grab your Mardi Gras beads, necklaces, and hats….and don’t forget Happy Hour starts at 7:30 nightly…we’re setting sail down one of America’s iconic rivers, the Mississippi, aboard the beautiful Disney Wonder.
