Dear Ryan,  Ashley is a newer employee of my family’s business who has become a friend. She is an amazing single mother that is doing her best to make ends meet for her 2 girls! She isn't going to be able to get Christmas gifts for them as she has been struggling the last few years and finally was able to get her own place for the first time in May. Having rent makes things very tight, but having this place has put her in a much better position in life. She is a wonderful person that is so deserving of some extra help and love this holiday season. She has been knocked down over the years, but she continues to get back up with a smile on her face. Dear Ryan,  I would love to nominate one of my best friends, Stephanie. She is a newly single mother of 5 kids, ages 1-16 years old. She left a partner who was being unfaithful and stole her money. She’s been trying hard to pick herself back up. She works in Van Nuys and has been taking Uber from Huntington Park every day for weeks because her car broke down and she doesn't have the money to fix it. They all live together in a one-bedroom apartment. Life has been rocky for her, but she always finds a way to make it work for her and her kids.
