TPS173 CHAOS FEMINISM | Jilly Boyce Kay
The revival of a mass, discontented and angry feminism with the Women's March and #MeToo seemed to betoken a break from ameliorating liberalism. Seven years on, we must conclude that it has... although not in the way that 'socialist feminists' hoped. Jilly Boyce Kay joins us to discuss today's 'chaos feminism': the new postliberal 'feminists against
progress', the Femcel Femosphere, and the TikTok influencers teaching
women to 'game' their relations with men.

🔐 The COVID Critical tapes 6 - LEARNING FROM THE TRUCKERS | Gord Magill
Originally released to the public as a burst of audio podcasts over Christmas 2022, COVID Critical is a series of interviews with medical and legal professionals, government advisers, epidemiologists and activists, who had opposed elements of the COVID-19 regime. TPS now releases the unedited video of those interviews from our vaults, exclusively for our Patreon subscribers.
Trucker Gord Magill returns to TPS to reflect on the most novel form of resistance thrown out by the COVID-19 pandemic: the Canada Truckers convoy against vaccine mandates. James and Gord discuss Justin Trudeau's invocation of emergency powers against the truckers, the failure of the left and the unions to respond adequately, and the alternative to 'from above' legalistic approaches to COVID overreach that have come to dominate the COVID critical position in recent months. TPS would like to thank Collateral Global for their support for TPS COVID CRITICAL.

TPS168 CANCEL THE COVID DEBT | Hassoum Ceesay, Toby Green #TPSRaceReckoning
At the start of 2020, the West African country of The Gambia was emerging from decades of dictatorship and optimistic about a future of democracy, tourism, and international investment. Then COVID-19 hit, and in common with most of Africa, the country adopted the WHO's guidance to lock down. This was an economic, social and developmental disaster, argue The COVID Consensus author Toby Green and Gambian historian and broadcaster Hassoum Ceesay, and the subsequent expropriation of the country's resources constiute a form of neocolonialism.
