After a full trial, a federal judge in California ruled that Trump grabbing control of the California National Guard and his deployment of the military to the streets of Los Angeles was illegal, and he also ordered him to stop violating the Posse Comitatus Act, a federal law that prohibits the military from enforcing civilian law.As Politico reported, "Judge rules Trump can't act as national police chief." Fox News Host turned top prosecutor in DC, Jeanine Pirro, engaged in gross prosecutorial overreach by urging multiple grand juries to charge protestors with felonies when the facts plainly warranted only misdemeanor charges.Fortunately, the grand jurors, sitting as the conscious of the community, refused to indict the protestors of felony crimes. It's a rare occurrence when a grand jury refuses to indict a case that a prosecutor urges them to indict. A Trump-appointed Judge, Thomas Cullen, has thrown out the lawsuit Trump had his DOJ officials file against ALL federal trial court judges in Maryland when the Chief Judge instituted a two-day pause on deportations to give the judges enough time to see if the Trump administration was violating the legal or Constitutional rights of undocumented immigrants that were being detained pending deportation. In a 30-page opinion that The New York Times called "scathing," Judge Cullen wrote, "Over the past several months, principal officers of (Trump's) executive (and their spokespersons) have described federal district judges across the country as ‘left-wing,’ ‘liberal,’ ‘activists,’ ‘radical,’ ‘politically minded,’ ‘rogue,’ ‘unhinged,’ ‘outrageous', 'overzealous', 'unconstitutional', 'crooked,’ and worse. Abrego Garcia has fought the Trump administration multiple times and won. But Trump and company just can't quit violating Abrego's constitutional rights.After DOJ lawyers lost a motion to keep him detained in connection with his criminal case in Tennessee, Abrego was released from prison and traveled home to his family in Maryland. However, when he went to his immigration appointment on Monday, Trump's officials put him back in custody again. Donald Trump is forever threatening to prosecute his enemies: Hillary Clinton, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Leticia James, Alvin Bragg, Jack Smith, Christopher Krebs, Miles Taylor, John Brennan, James Comey and on and on and on. Yet none of these individuals have been criminally charged. There are several reasons for the lack of criminal charges. One reason - there is a complete absence of evidence of criminal wrongdoing by the people on Trump's enemies list. Another reason - if Trump's DOJ tried to prosecute any of these people, they likely would have a strong "vindictive prosecution" defense. A third federal judge has denied Pam Bondi's motion to unseal the Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell grand jury transcripts. Just as other judges had pointed out, Judge Richard Berman said Trump's DOJ is engaged in a "diversion" by seeking to have a judge unseal a grand jury transcript that has no new information in it while DOJ has the power and authority to release the Epstein files, which it previously promised the public it would do.
