Natalie Abbott & Vera Schmitz
If you were our friend, and if we could look you in the eyes and see your struggles and know you fully, and if we could only give you ONE thing—we'd give you God’s Word. There is more power and love and truth in one verse than in a thousand other words. So, let us help you memorize God's words in a simple, easy way. We hope you'll love listening in while we chat about what our verse means, why it matters, and how it intersects with our daily lives.

Her love for Jesus is just evident, and she lives out her faith in serving our members! On the podcast this week, she shares her story of how God stepped in to her life. She went from thinking Christianity was weird, to thinking it was too good to be true, to actually taking that first step of faith. It's truly inspiring to hear. We know you will be blessed by it! Dwell #35: A Right Response to Racism - Kenny King & William Marshall
At Dwell, we are all so broken-hearted by the racism and injustice in our nation. So this week we're stepping away from our ordinary conversations about our verse to listen to our brothers, Kenny King & William Marshall. They are co-pastors working together as co-leaders, co-equals and friends in their beautiful gospel-centered diverse church. In this episode, they speak about Godly responses to racism for both white and black Christians. They talk about lament, listening, community, and how the good news of Jesus Christ must be both preached and practiced in regards to injustice. It was just so good to sit under their wisdom, to listen to their perspectives, and to be challenged in our understanding of race and one another. Theirs is a message for all people, especially the people of God. Last year Kenny & William joined their predominantly black and predominantly white churches to form one, unified diverse church. Doesn't that just make your heart sing!?!? It's such good news. They joined us on our February podcast episodes and spoke about their experiences, friendship, and following the Spirit in joining their churches. Go back and take a listen to find out more.
