On this momentous podcast, we have the return of fan favourite game, 20 Seconds to 20k, and a lot more poo chat than anyone needs to hear over their coco pops. The Hairy Bikers stopped by this week, and while Dave Myers told us the reason he has a meltdown over carrots, they also got down to business and told us the inspirations behind their new recipes. It does appear that one recipe was "stolen" off a lady who cooks in welders goggles, but we trust the Hairies not to poison us. Alan Carr, Eric Cantona, and Chris is late… #414

Here comes the aeroplane! Open wide, as we’ve got an extra large spoonful of all the best bits from The Chris Moyles Show for you to feast on. On this week's episode, we asked Tim Peake if you could propel yourself across the space station by farting, and spoke to Eric Cantona about his brand new music (yes, you heard that right!). We tried asking Ross Noble about his UK tour, but he decided to tell us about the history of ODEON Cinemas instead. Also, Pippa ended up regretting the choice of venue for her book launch when Chris turned up 15 minutes late the morning after… If that isn’t enough for you bunch of gannets, then of course we have all of the usual nonsense, including:Eddie Jordan tells us what he really thinks of Christian HornerAlan Carr reminisces on his ‘work trip’ to GreeceChris has fun with Pubcast clipsEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

The Libertines, Dawn French, and the team get roasted by Paddy McGuinness #413

Did you come along to the Radio X drinks on Wednesday? Was a laugh wasn’t it! Such a shame Chris and Dom weren’t invited… On this week's episode of the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast, Pippa returned to the studio bringing an end to the lads-lads-lads content, but boy did we have a great week. Our guests were on fine form this week as Paddy McGuinness managed to offend Dom, Chris and Captain Crapbeard all in the same interview. Pippa didn’t get off scot-free though, as Dawn French stopped by and challenged her to a wrestling match! Pete & Carl of The Libertines also came by the studio to talk about their new music, and discussed their detective agency, Albion Solutions. We had a double-bill of actors, as Robert Carlyle chatted about the new season of COBRA: Rebellion (which doesn’t involve snakes) and Matthew Fox reminisced on the filming of ‘Lost’ in gorgeous Hawaii. If six top tier guests aren’t enough to get you to click play, we also had the usual silliness, including:More self-hugging as the team listen to Pubcast clips Pippa teaches the team KoreanChris sends a voice note to da bossEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

Spoiler alert, it involves chicken… We also launched the 2023 Pubcast to raise money for Global’s Make Some Noise, and give you a few teasers of what to expect if you have purchased it. While this podcast has no parental advisory warning (unlike the Pubcast), we did have some cracking highlights this week, including: Chris plays the Reverse Words game with Dan ‘The Gas Man’ Gasser Captain Crapbeard has a birthday surpriseDom makes a new enemyEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

Derren Brown, Patrick Kielty, Ross Kemp, and Chris wages war #411

Have you ever got drunk with a Vicar in a Vicarage? Would you believe it, that’s Dominic Byrne’s weekend plans! It’s the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast and this week it’s been all lads-lads-lads as Pippa has been away on her jollies. Joining Chris in the studio was Derren Brown to talk about his West End show that he is not, in fact, performing in, and Matt Lucas, who reckoned Chris would have smashed the vicar in his new musical novel (it’s not quite how it sounds). Chef Tom Kerridge called into the studio and, in classic Chris fashion, had his new recipe book pulled apart. I mean, a pie should have fully enclosed pastry sides, right? New host of The Late Late Show (the irish one, not James Corden’s replacement) Patrick Kielty also came by the studio as well as everyone’s favourite Eastenders actor turned gang fighter Ross Kemp. In amongst all of those guests, Chris found time to wage WAR on LBC's Nick Ferrari over false allegations of stolen Kedgeree. No presenters were harmed in this war, but we are still suffering from the stench… Anyway, this week we also had: Chris does magicDom finds a new favourite song in a supermarketUnheard bits from James’ Birthday SurpriseEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

Davina McCall, Carol Vorderman, Amir Khan and the launch of Prize Dump Tour 2023 #409

Have you ever grabbed your partner's braces and ridden them like a horse? You know what, don’t answer that actually. Here we are, episode 409 of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast and goodness, it’s been a busy week. We were joined this week by SIX incredible guests including Davina McCall, who dished the details on why she is not hosting the new series of Big Brother and Carol Vorderman, who wound back the clock to when she first met Chris when he was 8 years old (Chris much disputes Carol’s story however…). Amir Khan reflected on his boxing career and the infamous I’m a Celeb Strawberry-Gate, and Tom Chaplin discussed the 20th Anniversary of Keane’s debut album ahead of their 2024 tour. Comedians Richard Herring and Lucy Beaumont brought the laughs as they chatted to Chris about their upcoming tours. As if that wasn’t enough, we only went and launched The Prize Dump Tour 2023, which kicks off in Willey, Warwickshire on Monday 18th September! Will-ey we be coming to your house to bring you a bus load of prizes? Tune in next week. Now that awful joke is out the way, we also had this week: The team record this years PubcastDom has a brand new business ideaPippa fixes her hooverEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30 - 10am

Joel Dommett, Seann Walsh, and 'Baldy Dom' on a Hobby Horse #408

Do you know Dominic Byrne well enough to call him 'Baldy Dom'? No. You absolutely do not. Hello and welcome to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. Chris returned from time away in the caravan (and Ibiza) refreshed and ready to deliver a standout week of content. This week was chocka block with comedians, as we have four comics join us on the show. Joel Dommett popped by and talked about conkers and Stephen Mulhern (not in the same sentence). Jon Richardson called the show and confessed Netflix have no interest in his special, and Seann Walsh told all about not being allowed into the NTAs. Everyone’s favourite Byrne, Jason Byrne, also came in and explained how he treats hecklers at his shows. Dominic Byrne’s 50 at 50 made a racing return, as Dom hopped in the saddle and took on the Leicester Square Hobby Horse Trials. Just wonderful. Anyway, if a few comedians and some hobby horses doing a lap of honour to the sound of an accordion doesn’t entice you to click play, we also had: Chris, Dom and Captain Crapbeard come in their shortsChris analyses Toby Tarrant’s mega breakfastCaptain Crapbeard gets a call from “Travis Barker”Enjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

Ricky Hatton, Rhys James and Toby Sits In #407

Would you invite the Series 7 X Factor contestant, Wagner,  to your birthday party? Here it is, episode number 407 of The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast, hosted by everyone’s second favourite Ginger, Toby Tarrant. Number 1 is Ron Weasley, of course. This week, boxer Ricky Hatton called in ahead of the release of his new documentary ‘Hatton’, and chatted to Toby about training Chris Tarrant, and being the hairiest baby his mum had ever seen. Comedian and Tottenham Hotspur fan Rhys James also came by the studio to play our new game, Murs or Spurs. While Producer Vin was here for the start of the week, he spent Friday in Lisbon *possibly* attending a communist festival, so James and Pippa stepped in to keep Toby on the straight and narrow. In amongst playing rounds of the game-which-yet-has-no-name-but- we-have-called-sticky-or-twisty, and being stumped by GCSE quizzes, we also had:Dominic Byrne dresses like Justin BieberToby has a barbecue disasterThe return of Dom’s Hole Enjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am

Toby Tarrant and The Curse of The Mega Breakfast #406

Take yourself back to August 2018.A Star is Born had just premiered in Venice. Ikea opened its first store in India. Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani said “truth isn’t truth”. And Pete Doherty took just 19 minutes and 30 seconds to eat an 8,000 calorie ‘Mega Breakfast’ in a cafe in Margate. Naturally then, on the 5th anniversary of this momentous occasion as Toby Tarrant sat in to bring you The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast, we challenged him to eat said breakfast live on air for your enjoyment. Apologies to Misphonia sufferers in advance. To prepare for the challenge, Toby chatted to Professional Competitive Eater Leah Shutkever, Dalby Cafe owner Mark, and our very own health and safety expert Richard. But did Toby finish? Click play to find out! Spoiler alert, we did need to enlist the help of hypnotist Paul McKenna to aid Toby’s recovery…  As if that wasn’t enough, Toby’s very own dad Chris Tarrant called in to clear his name (and lay down the law) with ‘big boy’ Tyson Fury who reckons they had a row in Gleneagles; and we also had:Producer Vin resigns over a missed custard joke. The brand new Spurs or Murs game. The worst U2 and Indian food puns you have ever heard.Enjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30-10am
