13th Juror Podcast
This podcast is made for True Crime & Justice Junkies.
We go through the court documents, analyze the evidence, watch the trials, break everything down, research it, talk to the experts, and then present it all as a compelling story from start to finish.
Season 1: Mainstream media only gives you bits and pieces of the story, but 13th Juror gives it all. Each story takes a current or recent case that has made headlines, and we give insight into the victim, the crime, and the pursuit of justice. Some stories will be told start to finish in one episode, others dive a little deeper and will be presented in a short series.
Season 2: "Conspiracy in Canton" Episodes include a deep dive into the controversial case of Karen Read- a woman arrested and charged with the murder of her boyfriend, Boston police officer John O'Keefe in January 2022. The prosecution says she hit John with her car and left him to die in the cold, however Karen's attorneys are alleging there's a coverup involving multiple law enforcement agencies. Every new piece of information brings new questions, and nothing is what it seems. The controversy stretches outward to law enforcement, officials, even the reporters covering the case, and each side accuses the other of a conspiracy. The first trial ended in a hung jury, and as the new trial approaches, the case seems to get wilder and wilder.

Stepmom Murder: Letecia Stauch (Part 6 of 7)
Part 6: The Trial
It's finally time for the state to present its case against Letecia- but changing her plea from "Not Guilty" to "Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity", changes EVERYTHING. The prosecution no longer has to prove Letecia murdered Gannon, they have to prove she was sane when she did it. During trial, Al presents an emotional testimony, the defense throws Letecia's daughter Harley under the bus, and some major bombshells are dropped in an interview Letecia did with a doctor. Plus, Letecia's bad courtroom behavior frustrates the judge, the prosecutors, and the jury.
In January of 2020 11-year-old Gannon Stauch is reported missing by his stepmother Letecia in Colorado Springs, CO, sparking a massive search effort involving volunteers, as well as multiple law enforcement agencies. As the community searches for signs of the missing child, police, and Gannon's father Al, turn their attention to the bizarre behavior of stepmom Letecia, who was the last person to see him alive.
As the investigation heats up, Letecia hits the road in a rental van, driving cross country with her teenage daughter to start a new life. Letecia is arrested on March 2, 2020, in Myrtle Beach, SC and charged with Gannon's death. On March 17th, maintenance workers find Gannon's remains in a suitcase under a bridge near Pensacola, FL- more than 1,300 miles away from his home.
Letecia begins to tell story after story- each more outrageous than the last. Letecia blames anyone and everyone- from the drug cartel to neighborhood workers, to sex traffickers- before finally pleading not guilty by reason of insanity. The trial, which lasted 5 weeks, began in April of 2023, and each witness brought out wild new details that made the story even more unbelievable.
In this seven-part series, we will walk through the background of this blended family, the search for Gannon, what happened when Letecia went on the run, her eventual arrest, and the bizarre trial that lit social media on fire.

Stepmom Murder: Letecia Stauch (Part 5 of 7)
Part 5: Trapped
It's been 3 weeks since Gannon was last seen alive, and with a mountain of evidence piling up against Letecia, she's feeling more trapped than ever. In desperation, she offers to take a polygraph test for Al, and tries to enlist the help of a new ally to lie for her. But when Letecia gets word that Gannon's remains have been located, she realizes she's even more trapped than she thought- and she comes up with a new plan to try to escape responsibility for what she's done.
In January of 2020 11-year-old Gannon Stauch is reported missing by his stepmother Letecia in Colorado Springs, CO, sparking a massive search effort involving volunteers, as well as multiple law enforcement agencies. Stepmom Murder: Letecia Stauch (Part 4 of 7)
Part 4: The Calls
Letecia knows that all eyes- and suspicion- are aimed at her. Al and the police are desperate to find Gannon, and Letecia is desperate to avoid being the only suspect. Her story about Eguardo the carpet guy didn't pan out, so Letecia changes up her story- over and over- each one, wilder than the next. As law enforcement guides Al on a series of recorded calls with Letecia, she comes up with a new plan to make her estranged husband start to believe her.

Stepmom Murder: Letecia Stauch (Part 3 of 7)
Part 3: Suspect
Letecia's bizarre behavior starts to raise some eyebrows in the community, with the police, and with Al. A search of the Stauch home and Gannon's room paints a gruesome picture, and when police get the data back from Letecia's phone, they're shocked to see her search history. As all eyes begin to look at Letecia, Letecia takes Harley and heads toward the other side of the country.
